BengalsFan77 Posted March 4, 2005 Report Share Posted March 4, 2005 to b honest, i wouldnt mind shippn out Griffey. as much as i love having him as a Red, he just hasnt produced at all here in Cincy. although it has alot with not being able to stay healthy. last year i thought he was going to have the great year we've been waiting for. started out strong after he said he worked so hard in the off season but once again he went down. Willy Mo is younger and has yet to b plagued by injury(knocking on wood). and it seemed like he was starting to pick up his defense as he was getting use to daily starts as opposed to the spot starts earlier in the season. and by trading griffey, maybe we can get a legitimate #1 starter. or at least a quality starter that we desperately need.
