Kendrell Bell?

Recommended Posts

Ya never know. But given the signing of Webster and drafting of Miller (not to mention a pretty good fill-in job by Landon Johnson playing out of position) I have to think that it's unlikely they'll go hard after an inside 'backer. (I think Trotter was here because he played for Marvin before more than any concern over the mike spot.) What wouldn't surprise me is to see them sign someone like Anthony Simmons.

HaHa me either. And we would prob. sign him to a huge contract too, and all he would do for us would to get hurt.

I actually wouldn't mind picking up Simmons. With his injury history over the last three years I very much doubt he would draw any big-dollar offers and if he can get back to where he was four years ago he'd be a definite upgrade vs. Hardy.

Some (not good) news on Bell...

A year ago I would've had Caleb Miller competing for time, but for some reason this year everyone (including myself) has ruled him out. He was picked ahead of LJohnson, what's the problem? Too small? He just didn't look like an NFL MLB...

I dont want Bell.. All he is is another player on IR. Caleb Miller is 6'3" and I imagine he's been told to report to camp bigger and stronger this year and I have no doubt he will be.. He seems to have a great work ethic...I look for him to be 237 this year and stronger.. Caleb will compete with Nate for the starting MLB job. If Webster's injury hasnt helaed then look for the team to grab a MLB in the later rounds... A good pick in round 4 or 5 would be Alfred Fincher...6'1" 240lbs..He's a tough kid.. doesnt have the greatest speed but knows how to play the MLB position with consistancy..

Caleb Miller will have to take mass Steroids to get bigger. He is too thin and if you ever met him in person you would know. He looks like a high school JV middle linebacker out there.

 I thought he looked good at training camp. I was like having to restrain myself from jumping on to the field and attacking him. Hm ill shut up before i ruin the thread.

Caleb Miller is not thin. 6'3" 225lbs is not big for a MLB though... He can easily put 12 lbs on due to his frame... I expect him to be one of the real surprises when camp opens.. All will be saying how much bigger and buffed he is.. This kid is a worker that once to excell...
