combatbengal
I like TJ and want him to remain a Bengals but if we can't come to a deal with him, The Carolina Panthers have released wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad. This guy was really good this past year and I think he'd be a great asset to the Bengals!!!

bengalsfan33
We'll most likely take a WR in the third round...But I'd like to sign one via free agency...
jditty47
mason would be my choice out of all the FA's.
bengalsfan33
mason would be my choice out of all the FA's. Yeah, same here. But how would it work out? CJ #1 WR, Mason #2 WR, and Warrick #3 WR? Or would we release Warrick and put Washington in the number 3 hole?
turningpoint
lol mushin muhhammud, will command a hell of a lot of money... imgaine a probowl year with 16 receiving tds, that's unheard of.
jditty47
warrick at slot with mason and chad on the outside would be dominant. housh wouldnt be resigned and kwash would only be used for resting the above mentioned 3 or in 4 wide. BengalsOwn
Muhsin Muhammad will be paid more than Chad Johnson. If we signed him, Chad Johnson would want his contract reworked, or possibly even traded. This is a horrible idea.
bengals7833
i am praying "please god give me the best WR core in the NFL " Mason PLeasee
CTBengalsFan
Can't afford him exactly.people need to realize at most we're signing one potential starter from FA. and not one like Muhammad that has been recruited by the Eagles who are far under the cap.If they get Muhammad they will be DEADLY... maybe a superbowl favorite. The size and talent between Muhammad and TO would be f**king DEADLY. Especially with Buckhalter back to stabilize the running back position. combatbengal
OK Guys, let's jump to Def. What about signing Ty Law? We could really use him!
AGrizzlyBaer
ty law is to expensive and not a position of need, lb, s, and d-line are all more in need
Zilla
Muhammad already agreed with the bears. Read it on ESPN website.. GOOD. Lets go for mason!!
Bobcat Bengal
Muhammad already agreed with the bears. Read it on ESPN website.. GOOD. Lets go for mason!! I remember dumping Muhammad in the early part of the season on my FF team. He really wasn't doing spit until Steve Smith got injured.Anyway, I guess that means Chicago won't draft Mike Williams or Braylon Edwards for their fourth pick huh? bengalboomer7
Yep, I try not to speculate on the draft too much cause free agency will mess up anyones mock
HoosierCat
Muhammad already agreed with the bears. Read it on ESPN website.. GOOD. Lets go for mason!! If Mushin's contract is anything near what Lenny P thinks it'll be -- some $12 million in guaranteed $$$, and total $15-18 million over the first three years -- Mason will be way out of their price range. DontPushMe
someone posted this on the huddles...In an interview on ESPN radio with Sean Salisbury, Mason said he expects something in the next few days - agent negotiating with about 4 teams - mentioned the Bengals and Jags. Said he likes the Bengals offense with Carson and Chad. Wants to play on an upcoming team.

This guy was really good this past year and I think he'd be a great asset to the Bengals!!! Hate to burst that bubble but found this @"Big Blue Draft Book" That didn't take long!!! Less than a day after being released in a salary cap move, Chicago has signed WR Muhsin Muhammad to a 6-year deal. With the signing of Muhammad, who had over 90 receptions and 1,400 yards last season, Chicago, which has the 4th pick overall at the 2005 draft, had reportedly being looking hard at WRs Braylon Edwards and USC junior Mike Williams as potential prospects at that spot. The Bears just cut David Terrell, so even with the signing of MM, they'll probably still be looking at getting a receiver somewhere. Maybe not with the 4th pick though. CJBestInAFC
Yeah but they would have a bad ass WR corp. if they did draft Edwards. Who else would they take with that pick? RB mabye? Lb possibly but they do have good lbs on the Bears. I highly doubt QB because Grossman was decent until he was injured. They could get Adam Jones from WV, but do you think he will go that high? I say Da Bears go for WR and get Braylon Edwards in the first.

MW is still a possibility for them as well, but, his slow 40 at the combine might scare the Bears away. Bear's fans are scared of taking Braylon because of the whole "Michigan wide receivers suck in the NFL" thing. I could see them taking a runningback like Brown/Benson/Williams "whoever is available at #4". I can't really see them taking a linebacker at that spot considering their defense is already good and I can't see them reaching for an OT like Barron at #4 either. They might want to trade down if somebody is willing to trade with them. With the signing of Muhsin Muhammad, they can pretty much do whatever they want.
