jjakq27
No one's got anything for this?I want to say that it was like 1997. I have a football card of Greg Truitt (long snapper) and he is in one of the throwback unis. Unfortunately a lot of the 90's is like having selective amnesia for me. Technically, it's just 2 games that are in question. Also, knowing history is part of being a fan. The world didn't start when you were born. I was not old enough to see the first game, but I know about it. Go buy Chick Ludwig's book and read on. :-)

I got out the big guns and looked in the media guide. Then I used my skills of deduction and memory (old age actually) to try to fill in the blanks. Is that cheating??? Here goes,Vintage1/3. Last game-December 21, 1980 vs. Cleveland Browns2. Head Coach Sam Rutigliano, the guy that replaced Forrest Gregg as Browns HC the year before.4. Eddie Edwards had five sacks in one game.5. I am guessing that the injury was the Thom Darden hit on Pat McInally that knocked him out. I think PM came back into the game and later caught a TD.6. The final score was 27-24 Browns, but I don't remember anything special that they did. Last second field goal maybe? BTW, I think the Browns lost to the Raiders in the playoffs that year. rob_justdmb
that's pretty good. the first 2 are definitely the throwback game week 3 of the '94 season. 3 is right, 4 is right, 5 is right, 6 is on the right track. Browns clinched the division in Riverfront Stadium. Paul had to be pissed...

Come to think of it, PB was their ex-coach too. Bet him and Forrest had alot to talk about.
