HoosierCat
Not a bad set of objectives. A few thoughts...I'd like Pat Williams, but word is that he and Sam Adams are best buds, that he wants to close things out in Buff, and that it would take megabeaucoup bucks to get him...probably more than is justifiable at his age.I don't see a tag-and-trade scenario with Rudi. Right now I'm back leaning toward the idea that they transition him. I don't think they expect him to draw a blockbuster deal and that would preserve their right to match anything "reasonable."I think you re-sign TJ or restructure Warrick. Over the long haul the Bengals probably can't afford to keep both. Right now I prefer TJ.No need to rush into an extension for Marvin. I think things are going well...but 2005 looked all along to be the payoff year. He got one additional year already, so let's see at least a winning season before we pony up more.Landon was only playing MLB because of injury. But he did a good enough job that I wouldn't hesitate to move him back there if Webster doesn't pan out.3 more years for Willie? I was kinda hoping that Stacey Andrews would be ready before 2010 or so!
jjakq27
That's it....that's all you could come up with! Seriously, it sounds like you have a solid plan in place. Now it is time to carry it out! :player:
BersMrnsT
Very good set of objectives, BM (Black Moses cause I'm Jewish). I doubt that anyone (including the Bengals) would want to pay the franchise tag for Rudi, and agree that transitioning him might not be a bad idea. Also, I think we should look to the draft for a run-plugging DT in Castillo or Fields. Draft again for a dangerous TE (Alex Smith). Everything else I'm all for. redsfan2510
I think we could get one of the dolphins defensive stars for rudi. Then we should trade Warrick , HARDY;AND kitna for as many picks as we can get. What about drafting Rolle and make him a safety? I really like Castilla ,but how about that dt from Utah. He would be able to clog the middle. As for a pass rusher what about Burges of the eagles;hes a free agent.REDSFAN2510
