BengalszoneBilly
I'm kicking myself for not recording the MNF game with Denver, but honestly I did not forsee the Bengals winning that one.Oh me of little faith... BengalNation1281
Dammit, Billy!!! That's alright...I didn't get it, either. I went to the bar to watch the game and forgot to ask my girlfriend to record it for me. I wish that I had it, just so I could watch Chad burn Champ, rewind, watch Chad burn Champ, rewind...BN1281

FonzieDog
I have the 2003 K.C. game, 2004 Miami game, and the 2004 Denver game saved on my DVR. I've been working on a way to transfer them to my computer then burn them onto DVD. I can transfer them to my computer but the files are huge. I've never burned my own DVDs nor am I very experienced with DVD authoring software. Once I figure out how to compress the games (or edit out all the commercials) maybe I can start burning them onto one DVD disc. Work and other things haven't allowed me the time I would like to play with that stuff yet. Darn work for getting in the way of important stuff! Work always gets in the way of important things, like transferring Bengals games onto DVDs.Honest admission: I took a third-shift job so I would have my Sunday afternoons open for Bengals games. And I will be taking any Sunday Night Football and MNF days off in 2005, so I can keep my streak going (I have watched every game since week 4 in 2003...I am sure that there are some who have better streaks, but this one is mine, and it's all I've got )If nobody else can find a tape or DVD, we might have to use you for our selfish whims, Fonz. Prepare for hours in front of a computer screen to appease your bengalszone brethren! BN1281
bengalboomer7
Thats nothing Bengals nation. Listen to how genius and potheticc this is. My office also wanted me to work on sundays but with my new found (wink wink) faith in God I now get sundays off for church. To keep from pissing off some people I am not an aethist or anything and believe firmly in god, however, I do not believe in church, I don't want to start a religious thread

I am the same way...love God, but not church, and have told an employer in the past that I needed Sundays off for religious reasons.I think that God wants us all to watch Bengals games...*waiting for the backlash from the zealots*BN1281P.S. By the way, BB (and all others who make this mistake), my screen name is BENGALNation1281. It started with my buddy in Wichita...we left the "s" out of Bengals because it was supposed to have the same sound as the "Raider Nation," and I always thought that it sounded better without the "s". Just for future reference... :player:

I know it can't be that hard, just a matter of me sitting down and figuring it out. Once that happens I'd be happy to serve my Bengal brethren with the help of my DVD burner! I'll be changing careers here soon so I might have more time to myself in my off hours to get this project going. The down side to the new job is I have no idea what my hours will be come fall. Hopefully it won't inferfere with my own Bengal game watching streak. Might be cool to be able to establish a Bengal game trading ring. Bengls1x
Hey Fonzie.. there is a free program out there called DVD shrink. It compresses the files and then they are ready to burn with basically any burning software. Let me know if you get them. I am very interested in purchasing

Work and other things haven't allowed me the time I would like to play with that stuff yet. Darn work for getting in the way of important stuff! First, you need a video capture card or device. Capture the mpg which for a game will end up being about 10 - 12 gigs. You can edit the comercials out with Wombles mpg Wizard, then use a program like Sonic dvd to burn the mpg to a dvd.I have most of what people want (not the Baltimore comeback, yet), but I don't have the time to do B&P's for everyone. I have a couple B&P's sitting on my desk right now. When I get those out, I will set up a dvd tree on here for the 58 - 48 game and the Monday night game. FonzieDog
I'm transfering these games from my ReplayTV to my Mac so some of the software recommended wouldn't be compatible. I've identified all the different software I need to get my games on DVDs. Now it's a matter of getting the software and finding the time to get it done. I'll let you know when I have a finished product. I'd be happy to share when I'm done. I'm not interested in making any money off anybody (I'm pretty sure there are laws against that anyway). Nothing more than the cost of a blank DVD and postage.
rob_justdmb
honestly, though. It's worth having a game on 2 or 3 discs as opposed to using dvd shrink to make it 1. Discs are cheap enough now. It's a good hobby to get into, and it's one where people that you trade with are looking for the highest possible quality. BengalNation1281
I've also been looking for the "Year in Review" DVDs that NFL Films used to put out, but I haven't found any yet. They make YIR videos for the crappy years, but as soon as we get good, they stop. I don't understand.Added note: I just talked to NFLShop.com, and they don't have anything that even closely resembles a Bengals highlight tape/DVD for 2003 or 2004.I was also thinking about which games I would want from rob_justdmb...Browns/Broncos/Ravens comeback would be my top three, unless you would be willing to download more than two games for me if I sent you the DVDs and paid you for doing so?BN1281
