turningpoint
sorry, but I'd trade #17, Warrick and hell one of our CB's to Minn for Moss...C'mon we already got a top 5 NFL WR imagine having the best one?Jeezus, Chad would be left in single coverage i couldn't imagine.U'd be seeing a 1800yd wr and 1500yd wr on the same team, and you wouldn't neccessarly be able to know which one would get the 1800yds, cause it depends whose not being double teamed....I also think Chad and Randy would get along really....Niether of could be like I'm the best on this team i demand to get the ball more...Like i said trade up for Mike Williams...a cheaper young Moss whose caught about 150passes from our QB already...... bengalboomer7
If we trade uo Id rather see a guy like Derrick johnson, Antrell Rolle, or another top defensive player
Kirkendall
As crazy as he is, I wouldn't mind having Moss, but if I were the Vikings it would take more than that.Moss is awesome, but I don't want him in a Bengals uniform. He'll be a highlight reel all of his career but will NOT contribute to a championship. Sorry, I'd rather have a guy that goes all-out EVERY play! This is coming from a Vikings fan and former Minnesotian -- me. Some of you, not pointing anyone out, are awfully quick to jump down Dillon's throat for "dissing" Cincinnati so much -- yet, you'd be getting a guy that's just as frustrating. This is a guy that scares me though cause I can easily see the Ravens going after him.Naa. The Vikings have Moss and Culpepper and didn't even win more than they lost. The whole Chad and Randy getting along notion too is putting all eggs into one basket hoping there's no "give me the damn ball" attitudes which Randy sure has -- unless he's taking the play off of course.I've followed Moss since day one. I've been a Vikings fan for many many years. This guy is not the solution to our team.
bengalboomer7
Oh I totally agree, Kirk. But it would be awesome to watch for a couple of years. Remember what I said about the Ravens, they will have Moss in camp next year. I imagine it willbe by draft day depending on how their ownership situation pans out
Kirkendall
No doubt it would be fun to have Moss on the team. You wanna double Chad, fine, we'll throw to Moss. Wanna double Moss, fine we'll throw to Chad. As for going to the Ravens, heck, let him go. The Ravens would have to give up defense, since that's the Vikings flaw, and perhaps high draft picks. Either way, Minnesota would come out ahead (which would be great for me) and Baltimore would lose a little on their defense (which would be great for all of us). Let's remember too, Kyle Boller is nothing close to Culpepper, so that's going for us too.
HairOnFire
I just listened to a Viking beat reporter on ESPN Radio describe the Vikings trade demands in Lawrence Welk terms. As in.... anna one anna two anna good defensive starter.
DontPushMe
it's because while you know no one wants to see your "COREY DILLON WINS THE SUPERBOWL" thread, you still post it, in an a**h*** manner. Then explain why my "Corey Dillon Wins a superbowl" post, that 'no one wants to read' has 345 views and 32 replies?
Beaker
Corey Dillon wins Super Bowl....had nothing to do with the rest of the team, right? Kinda appropriate that you see Leon the way he views himself.
glnwf
"I am willing to give Perry a chance, because he deserves it; not just because he is a first round player, but because the coaches believe he can do it. And they know a heck of a lot more about football than I ever will."I think Perry Will be fine rite along with Palmer if we can provide them with a good "O"line If not then the Bengals could go the way of many other teams by comittee? Let's see now we have,Perry,Watson,Oliver, not to include any Rookie that we pick up in the later round in the draft. So either way we'll have a fine rushing attack. The O Line is more of a concern with the Mucho man formations. :player:
BengalszoneBilly
"I am willing to give Perry a chance, because he deserves it; not just because he is a first round player, but because the coaches believe he can do it. And they know a heck of a lot more about football than I ever will." I too am willing to give Mr Perry his chance. I'm just hoping he's able to stay healthy long enough to get that accomplished! And as far as him deserving it, well hell yeah he does! They did draft him 1st, ya know. (And much to my dismay. Oh well. What's done is done.)As far as the coaches, what they know about the game and it's players goes far beyond what we "general fans" know. That's why they coach and we watch, then bitch like hell wheb we don't like something! But IMHO, one thing they cannot really determine without time, is a players durability at this level. What may have worked pretty damn good at the college level just might not be up to the level of hitting dished out here in the NFL! I don't know first hand of course, but I'm guessing, on the average, they probably hit a wee bit harder up here. :player:
