bengalboomer7
I agree with that, I'm just saying that everyone is willing to just let our single season rushing king to go just like that. Doesn't that sound like the Bengals of the 90's. All "Ho Hum, he had a good year and is asking for some money, let hin go," that s**t just don't cut it. We at least knew what we had from Palmer through practice all year and two training camps. Perry barely even went through any training camp!! All even the coaches have is some old UM tape and I wouldn't be willing to put my backfield on the shoulders of an unproven Big Ten back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spcled3384
I don't think the Bengals can afford to get rid of Rudi. He's proven he can be an effective back, and can carry the load throughout an entire game. Chris Perry had what, 2 carries? I think it's in the best interest of the Bengals to resign Rudi, give him the lengthy contract he deserves, and be secure at running back for years to come. Perry can share the snaps with Rudi if push comes to shove. We could use him like the Eagles use Westbrook, or we could adopt a game plan similar to the Falcons.
