chrishcovga
This is definitely going to be one of the more interesting games if indeed all of these upper echelon players participate. Smell that... Smells like someones' cooking up some COMBINE...

HoosierCat
And, of course, the game marks the point where the Draft Hype Generator is turned up to full power. I got about five words into a pfw write-up on Spears before the alarms started ringing...Buzz: Thickly built, Reggie White-typeWHOA WHOA WHOA there, cowboy! Let's leave the kid just a little room for improvement, dontcha think? The whole thing is here:http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFLDr...spect012505.htmI like the bit about him having a "thick bubble." I dunno what a thick bubble is, but I'm pretty sure I want one."Hey, baby. Wanna come back to my place and check out mah thick bubble?" Bobcat Bengal
I like the bit about him having a "thick bubble." I dunno what a thick bubble is, but I'm pretty sure I want one. I think I'd rather a girl have a thick bubble. It sounds like a very, very shapely ass."Damn, shorty's got a thick bubble!"
chrishcovga
It's funny that PFW, used those words to describe Spears. I remember saying that he reminded me of Reggie White. Only thing though, is he's probably not as fast as Reggie. But He's got so many athletic skills to consider that he should be a starter come Day one whomever selects him. 6'4 295. Great Spin Move, good balance. Long arms. Always plays with good leverage. The report on Bengals.com says you're getting a player that will play very well against the run and get you 6 sacks a year. I think he could average more than that, but other things have to help him. Like one ( Improved play from the Dt spots.)
schweinhart
Spears checked in at 6-3, 302 and pretty much showed he could easily handle the RTs they threw at him in the practice today. I was hoping to see Monte Kiffin stuff him inside a couple of times because Spears looks to me like he could be a real benefit at DT to a team w/ a stunting 4-3 in addition to being a natural 3-4 end.Speaking of the great Draft Hype Generator, NFL Network ran a Mike Mayock spot from the practice and he was hyping the hell outta DE/LB Demarcus Ware to the point where he lists Ware as the 4th top senior in the draft this year behind Antrell Rolle and ahead of Cadillac Williams. And Monte Kiffin hyped up Ware pretty good too.Best effort I saw from the practice on ESPN was Kay-Jay Harris blocking MLB Robert McCune in 1-on-1s open space blitz blocking. Kay-Jay can most definitely block and looks as good as Steven Jackson to me as an RB.
