ArmyBengal
pats will win for sure. big ben is a joke and he has been exposed for what, 6 weeks now? bye bye steelers u wont fluke into a win vs the champs, especially with a determined dillon on the field and a SB mvp at the helm. and screw everyones reasoning that i hope the steelers make it so our division looks tougher. thats bulls**t. f**k that. if we cant win it, f**k the rest. no chance in hell will i ever root for the ravens, the browns, or the steelers in a game that doesnt improve our chances to make the playoffs. Have to agree with all you said. Hope NE pounds P-Burg and either NFC team shuts NE down. Would love Leon to get to the SB only to be denied. He wanted to play for a superbowl winner, only to be denied at the defining moment. WHODEY !!!
HairOnFire
I'd have to put it this way. I'll be incredibly interested in the game, but emotionally unattached. Granted, if Corey makes a mistake that costs the Pats the game I'll probably laugh my butt off, but I accepted the idea that Dillon might get a chance to raise the Lombardi trophy above his head the moment I heard who the Bengals traded him to. So let the story be written however the feetball gods feel appropriate. All I'll add is that I love the way both of these teams play. IMHO the Steelers define physical play and the Patriots define discipline. So I'm hoping for a scoreless 60 minute slugfest....followed by a scoreless overtime...followed by a game winning KO return in the 2nd overtime. That would be perfect, and again...it doesn't matter a bit to me which team breaks the big one.
DontPushMe
I really dont understand why everyone is so bitter when it comes to dillon. For 7 years he was the best player on this team, who played his heart out even though he knew the team wasnt going anywhere. For 7 years he set records, was the only bengal helmit in the pro bowl, and was the only star on a team full of busts and poor free agent signings. Finally, at the age of 30, he sees that he doesnt have much time left in the league, and wants the chance to compete for a title, knowing that probly wont happen here, he requests a trade. Now, the fans who cheered him on and bought his jerseys just 2 years ago hate him. Why?
bengalboomer7
You shouldn't have asked that, In no time this thread will be 47 pages long each with a good answer for you, so I'll just leave it up to them.

Yeah Dillon was our best player for 7 years and he got the recognition for it. He got a 5 year contract that madehim the highest paid Bengal EVER (at the time) and he was loved by all Bengals fans. He turned on the fans when he started acting like a little bitch boy. We spentmoney on his jerseys, we cheered for him. We forgave him for the burger flipping comments. We were happywhen Mike Brown opened up his purse and gave him a $32 million contract. We made him into a hero.He acted like a zero. Dan Marino didn`t go on National TV and bash the franchisethat made him a millionaire. He didn`t bash the best player on the team besides him... like Dillon did Willie. If Dillon would have asked for a trade behind the scences and left with some class...then I`m sure while some still wouldn`troot for him...they would still respect him. He didn`t..... jjakq27
Dillon could take a few lessons from Jerome Bettis on how to be a good teammate and a pro.
Ox
I swear I don't know who to pull for... I hate to say a sh**y thing like this but maybe roethtlisverbergver will break an arm and Corey will have a game devastating turnover. Honestly I can't in good conscious pull for either team. You must be the one that caught Corey's jock last year and wore it around your neck. IMO anyone who still supports that sorry sack of s**t is not really a Bengals fan. Saying it behind the scenes wouldnt of been good enough. he wanted out, and he made sure it was done. Ask patriot fans, he hasnt caused any problems there! richmond_mat
Personally I can't have Dillon in the Super Bowl. I just CAN'T!! If I have to listen to one more segment on how Dillon's career was wasted in Cincy and how the Patriots ripped off the Bengals to get him, I may go through the screen!!!Dillon is a great back, but not a great team player. Trust me. Eventually things will go downhill and his true nature will reappear. As soon as he gets a new contract. :player:I'm pulling for the Steelers. chrishcovga
I'm rooting for Corey Dillon and the Patriots. I'd much rather see a former disgruntled Bengal win a SuperBowl than the steelers any day of the week . Also like most football fans, I'm waiting for Cinderella ( Roethlesberger) to lose her damn shoe already!- As long as the Falcons don't win, ( live in the atlanta area ) then I'll be truly satisfied ! You're an idiot, he's a top 5 tackle in the NFL, probably the best RUN right tackle in the NFL.WHy he made the offensive all pro team, which means he's a top 2 NFL tackle. And see the Eagles win, f**k no I love seeing that city cursed with out a championship for like 26 years in any sport. The team i hope wins it all is ATL. It would be cool to see a rookie coach take a team to the superbowl, and do it with a young QB like Mike Vick. Not to mention they're most likely the least favored to win the SB out of the 4 teams. TubThumper
I like Ben Rothlisberger and this year's Steelers, I don't particularly like Corey Dillon, and I pretty much dislike the Patriots even though I respect what they do. But, after hearing the locals kvetch about Dillon ad nauseum, damnit, I hope the Patriots go all the way for Corey's sake. GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!! RUN COREY RUN!!!!!
