comstock Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 Lewis: We’re going out there and try to get not a winning record, but not a losing record. It's going to be a fun week.Fun? Ok this is it, we're going on 15 years without a winning record and this is the last time we should all let them act like an 8-8 season is good. Yeah we're better than about half the teams in the league, but being average year after year (8-8) isn't a whole lot better than years of 4-12. They better pickup 10 or more wins next year, enough of this rebuilding crap. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 Calm down. The smart money this year was on a losing season with Carson Palmer learning the ropes. After the decimation of our roster by injury, and losing nearly 1/3rd of our players (15 out of the 53 man roster), you really expected better than 8-8?I'm the biggest homer in the world, but I accept the fact that when you have this many injuries, and a first year quarterback, you are going to have inconsistancy. Carson will be even better next year, and with luck, guys like Patrick Johnson, Khalid Abdullah, Ladarius Jackson, Mathias Askew, Nate Webster, Peter Warrick, etc. will really help next year. Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 well most of those guys, cept patrick johnson since he is no longer a bengal Quote

As it stands, baring a settlement, he is still a Bengal on the IR just like the soon to be ex punter. Quote
