I got named after a NFL football teamĀ  <_<

Tennessee?

Jet? Chief? heh

Kansas. Sucky name. My mom is a big KC fan. When I born KC was doing good at the time, so to make the story short she ruined me.

I had a buddy that named his dog Dallas after the Cowboys.

I can't believe all of my fellow Bengals' fans and their ultra-negative attitude about Kitna. Remember, last year he had a few bad games, but if my memory serves me correctly, he didn't have two in a row, and he did have some good games, e.g., the last minute victory in Pittsburg. Plus, the Giants defense is not as strong as those we have been playing against all year. You watch, if Kitna starts, he will definitely play better than he did last week. Yes, he was awful last week, no question.

Palmer starts: Bengals 37-17.

Kitna starts: Bengals 24-17.

I gotta agree here KY. True, Kitna threw several godawful passes and was the main reason why Chad only had 2 catches (even though the playcalling w/ Chad was also suspect because I watched Chad bounding downfield four times like an effing antelope w/ the DB giving up 10+ yds in cushion -- they could have easily called more stops and outs but Kitna didn't connect when they did).

Anyways, Kitna can lead the Bengals to a W, especially vs. a D as off as the Giants. He can't play no GD worse than he did vs. Bills

That was the worst game I ever saw him play. He really looked out of sink after the 1 st QT. But I dont think he will have 2 bad games like that in a row...Hang in there JON im still with ya!!!! ;)

Yeah, last Sunday was pretty ugly for Jon. If it wasn't his worst game, it was his worst since opening day against Denver last year (1 TD, 2 picks, 2 fumbles). He followed that with a 1 TD, 2 INT performance in the infamous loss in Oakland, and then had a blah 1 TD, 1 INT, 157-yard (losing) outing vs. Pitt before finally winning in Cleveburg.

He also flopped twice in a row at the end of last year, tossing 3 INTs in the St. Louis game, then going 0 TD, 1 pick, and 175 total yards in the debacle against Cleveland to end it all.

Fortunately, even when he stinks two weeks in a row, he tend to stink less in the following week than he does in the first. Given that the Giants run D actually ranks lower than ours (yes, it's true!), I would say that the best strategy would be to give the ball to Rudi, followed by giving the ball to Rudi, followed by giving the ball to Rudi some more, with the occasional handoff to Watson or reverse by Chad/TJ. If Kit can just get the snap, and Rudi can find those legendary sure hands, we might just pull this one out.

I haven't given up on Kitna. He is my favorite player, even after a bad game.

If Kitna plays we will still win. After one bad game he will be looking to show that he still has it, and the Giants' D isn't nearly as tough as the Bills'. I still say 31-24, even with Kitna in.

I am ready for 2005 with Palmer at the helm, though. That offense is gonna take people to the shed next year.

Who would have ever thought I would be singing Palmer's praises? This is an interesting year, indeed.

And I am from Kansas, so I kinda like that name. She could have named you "Wild" Bill Kenney.
