MarcK
Good Day Bengal Fans,Just wanted to jump in and talk about the big game this week. I'll tell you as a lifetime Bills fan, I have always had great respect for your city and team. In fact I had the chance to go the Bills-Bengals Playoff game about 23 years ago and was treated politely and with great courtesy. This game on Sunday is critical for the Bills playoff chances and its also the game I fear the most. Cincinnati is an excellent team and is developing very well under Marvin Lewis and he will have your team playoff ready in 2005.I do think that the Bills will prevail on Sunday as the strong running game will be the key issue as your defense has a history of being dominated by teams who can run the football. I also think that Rudi Johnson will be held in check and force the Bengals to become dependent on their excellent passing game. However, whether Palmer or Kitna plays, there will be opportunities for key turnovers and that will eventually lead to a very narrow Buffalo victory. In fact, outside of the place kicking edge that the Bengals have, Buffalo is much superrior in all aspects of special teams. Thanks for the opportunity to share my views and best of luck to you in weeks 16 & 17. bad radio
This will be a good game, Bengals fans. Your defense...well, I still don't know that you have a defense. They're there somewhere, I just don't see them. However, I really hope Palmer is ready to play because that offense is great with him running it. When they're on, you've got a chance in any game. But I've seen Kitna do some damn fine things himself. Who knows. Our D will probably keep them relatively in check, but I think they'll still put up some stats. It will be fun. And we'll be happy to beat you.
rob on the job
I think Bills fans have nothing but respect for the Bengals, and expect a good battle this Sunday.Bills fans are quietly confident in the strength of our defense against your Bengals' high-powered offense, and are more than quietly confident in the ability of our running and passing attack to poke holes in the Bengals' suspect defense. The real surprise, however, may be on special teams. Unless you've followed the Bills all season, you will not know what to expect from this unit ... whether returning or kicking, the Bills' special team is truly this. Thanks for having us Bills fans as your guests. The_Next_Big_Thing
Bad Radio, our defense is only there when the fans are in Paul Brown Stadium pumping them up. The defense is a different team at home!
rob on the job
Yeah, I'm sure the Bengals' D will automatically turn All-World on Sunday. Because those kinds of things happen every weekend in the NFL.

Because those kinds of things happen every weekend in the NFL. Keep thinking that. Should we assume the Bills will completely suck because their first few games they played like a high school team? The Bengals defense is one of the top teams in terms of takeaways and it's all happened at home. Good post -- thanks for not ranting and having validd points. I agree that turnovers may play a very big part in this game. We probably disagree as to how that may work out however. The Bengals (for the first season in many years) have been winning the takeaway battle very consistently, especially at home. Both teams are no strangers to the int. Palmer, Kitna and Bledsoe have a propensity to force throws. Who comes out on the short end of the straw should probably lose this game. I tend to think the Bengals d plays pretty well at home this Sunday and that the bills offense will play better - as it has the last few games. I don't give the bills the huge special teams advantage that you all seem to think is there, but I don't think it will come down to that anyway (and if it does isn't it likely to be a field goal?). We have covered against good ST very well this season -- again, unlike our recent past. It should be a good game with both teams playing their best in the second half of this season. Watch how much better our defense plays at home, though, especially red zone d.

It's sad to think that one at least and maybe both of these excellent developing teams will miss the playoffs, when teams such as the Ravens, Broncos and Jets have a chance to make it as the 5th and 6th seed.I believe that both the Bengals and the Bills are better then each of those teams. For example, if the Bengals-Jets game had been in week six instead of week 1, I'm sure Cincinnati would have prevailed. You dominated the Bronco's and had that great comeback against the Ravens. The Bills had the Jets beat in NY, dominated Baltimore their, but had four Bledsoe picks which cost them the game.So here's big props for both teams, hopes for a well-played, injury free game and let both teams bring their A games on Sunday.I hope Carson Palmer can play on Sunday so that both teams give it their best.Good luck and talk at you all soon. ShulaSteakhouse
I HATE the Bengals' defense (they're ultimately terrible) but they do play better at home for some reason and seem to lack emotion, consistency, talent, and a proven leader. That said it will be up to the Bengals' defense, as usual, to win or lose the game for them as this offense will typically score on anybody - don't forget we've faced the Ravens and Steelers twice this year each, as well as the Redskins, Jets, Broncos (when they had the #1 defense) etc...,I'm not worried about the Bills' defense, it's the Bengals' defense that has to show up and do something this week in order to win the game. cincy9275
the bengals will win this game .the bills have a tough d but no offence .our d may have a problem stoping the run but as was said earlier we play well at home . bengals stack the line and make bledsoe to try to beat us . witch he won't . and it doesn't matter who we have playing qb they are both good qb's so no worry there to make along story short .bengals will roll in this game 28 - 13 bengals . i really don't think the bills have a chance to beat the bengals at home. the bengals are a better team and are very use to playing top defences and putting up very good offensive numbers on the top d's in the game :player:
