not-another
You have to question his toughness by putting himself out of the most important game of the season. You have to question your IQ level thinking the Bills are a "good team".
Beaker
You have to question his toughness by putting himself out of the most important game of the season. Good logic. Should we question Magahee's toughness for putting himself out of the National Championship game? Both players got hit on the knee. Get a grip asshat. Player6600
if it's only a minor injury then the guy is just not tough enough. Willis had a serious injury and couldn't even walk, but we all know he is tough by coming back from it.
jamesbrooks21
You have to question his toughness by putting himself out of the most important game of the season. I thought he was good, but he's not tough enough to play Bulls**t you dumb MFer, depending on the type of sprain it was that injury can keep you out for weeks. I can tell you never played. I guess McGAYhee is a big p***y too because he was ready to play at the end of last year.
redsfan2
a sprained knee. The guy gave up. I thought he was good, but he's not tough enough to play Wow Ski ..... you got the guys all riled up. I know you didn't do it on purpose and that its just cause you don't know much about football and all , ..... but see ... the guys on this site Do know what they're talking about and just aren't used to having to suffer fools like you. So far you've hoped one of our players gets injured ( don't say you didn't now because you DID and you know it ) and made light of what could turn out to be a serious injury to a quarterback that your team only wishes they could have gotten. Now outside of the Buffalo city limits, that is just plain rude. If you do ever get to go anywhere, just start off by saying Hi my name is Ski and I'm from Cheektowarsaw ... right outsida Buffalo. After they know what they're dealing with they won't take anything you say seriously anyway. Now go count the flamingos again and remember to take somebody with you if there are more than 21 ...... What am I saying ????? Of course there's more than

membengal
Kitna will tear you guys up this is atrocious, even for you bax. I will root like hell for kitna, but to take pleasure in him being in because of an injury to CP is sick. Palmer is growing into the kind of qb they drafted him to be...one who will threaten for MVPs in this league. Kitna, as much as we all like him, does not have those kind of skills. And, for everyone who had amnesia about kit...that pick in the end zone is EXACTLY the kind of mistake he was always prone to make. everytime one of the people calling for kitna would ride Palmer for the mistakes he was making, I found it rather ironic. You've got a good point, but it's kinda hard to lay this loss on Kitna. He had one ... Palmer had one go the other way, and Rudi had one in the redzone. You don't commit 3 turnovers against the Champs and win the game.

You don't commit 3 turnovers against the Champs and win the game. I am NOT laying this loss at the feet of Kitna. He played a phenomenal 4th quarter. If they get him the ball back, I think we tie the game. I really do. This loss is at the feet of the D (just owned by Charlie Weis---and Deltha not going was a killer) and at the usual bevy of penalties. That said, I mentioned that above to remind the people riding Palmer's jock all year that mistakes happen, even to the beloved Jon Kitna. I think people forgot that he had more than his share as our QB...that's all I was saying. If CP is done, I am ecstatic with the year he turned in. Very on par with what, say, Peyton Manning got done in his first year, only CP got 6 wins in 13 games to Peyton's 3 in 16 games. Also, if CP is done, I cannot root hard enough for Kit to get us three wins in the next thee games. It is doable. 9-7 can still be a reachable mark for this squad.
redsfan2
Coach Lewis knew the schedule we had going into this season, and that most of his team would be in their first or second year here. That was the reasoning behind saying " We could finish worse than 8 and 8 and still have a better team." With the level of competition the way it was, he was right. But I agree that his team can surprise even him over the last 3 games and beat that 8 and 8 mark. Bills ........ I'd be more nervous about playing in Buffalo. Here I don't see them winning. For one thing it'd be what ?? 5 in a row and they haven't done that in a while. And Bengals DO play better at home. Giants ......... We should be able to beat here there or anywhere. Coughlin is in the same shape this year that Lewis was in last year. Plus they're NFCEagles ....... Barely got by the 'Skins today. Explanation ????? Same as above ... they're NFC. I don't care what their record is. Chiefs looked pretty tough coming in here last year too ... didn't they ??Hate to see Palmer out. I'd hate a lot more to see him risk further injury on a season that is not going to end in the play offs even if we win out. Way Smarter to rest him for next year and give Kitna a shot. I've got no problem with him going in at all.

CTBengalsFan
It's not about how hard he got hit, just the awkward contortion of the ligaments in his legs as it happened. If you hear something pop in your knee, you don't keep playing. It's not worth a lifelong injury, especially since it is the most injury prone place on your body. Look how much time Pdub has missed and we don't know if he'll ever truly be the same. Carson's mobility is a key factor to his game, and his knee is nothing to fool around with, especially with the future being so bright.
