rockthejungle Posted December 12, 2004 Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 Todays game against the Pats is our AFC championship game .....one thing i wish for today and not seeing the weather out of N.E. is if it's cold there our guys come out in short sleeve shirts just like the AFC championship game in the freezer bowl. But I would also like to see one time during a game that if O U R BENGALS get behind our fans on the game thread site would hang in there and not get so darn mad at the team and have some faith in them..Seen that alot this year and it kinda bums me out... Benzoo Posted December 12, 2004 Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 No matter the outcome, this team has shown enough heart, moxy, guile, and guts to last me the entire offseason....Thing is, there are four games left.This team probably will not make the playoffs, but in this instance moral victories do exist. This entire season has been a moral victory.Simply put...The Bengals have arrived. The youngsters have served the rest of the AFC notice: The Boys in the Funny Helmets will be pushed around no longer.Today is an excellent opportunity to drive that point home with a resounding "thud!".I'm proud of them, and I'm once again proud to be a Bengals fan. This is the best I've felt about them since 1988, and nothing's going to change after today.And don't think for a minute that the cold weather's going to bother them.
