HoosierCat
Wow. No wonder the nets want flexible scheduling for prime time games. I happened to glace at the schedule, and it turns out that tonight's Packers-Rams tilt is almost certainly the last meaningful game on Monday night this season. Both are in contention in the weak NFC and if GB wins, the Rams will have the dubious distinction of occupying (at least for the moment) a wild card slot with a losing record.Coming up, we have:Dec 6: Dallas v. Seattle! Oh, boy! Well, I suppose that might keep things tight in the NFC West.Dec 13: a real winner, KC v. Tenn! Yes, 2 teams that are currently a combined 7-15 will square off under the Monday night lights.Dec 20: NE v. Miami. This one may get beat in the ratings by reruns on "Nick at Night." In Miami. And finally -- mercifully, there's no Monday game in week 17 -- we get to watch Philly, which clinched weeks ago by then, sleepwalk against St. Louis (yes, the mighty .500 Rams get 2 late-season MNFs! What a scheduling coup!). Oh, well, at least that means Philly has one less day to rest up for us...

Barbarian
I've always wondered why the NFL doesn't switch games. Here out in Sunny Cali, I got the dubious disinction of watching the SF 69ers play the damned Miami DeadFish. My god. What a Toilet Bowl.
