Kirkendall
Palmer is responsible for 9 points for Pittsburgh. Good job...
ShulaSteakhouse
Palmer, ugh, not that he has any time to do anything, but, Pitt's a better team. Oh well. The 0-line is still terrible.

schweinhart
Palmer sure looked like total sh*t in the 2nd half.He should be benched out of principle at this point. You suck this bad this late in the season with this much on the line and you sit your sorry a$$ on the bench.Bring on Kitna next week. Let him get some PT. bengalboomer7
I am very close to agreeing with you on Kitna
EdwardG
Well, Palmer certainly isn't the first QB to be bothered by Pittsburgh. He actually played better against them than McNabb did. Today, we couldn't get much going on offense, and our defense played pretty well, but not great. In the end, we just got beat by a much better team. UK Bengal
totaly disagree with that finish the season with the guy let him learn from his mistakes its the only way he can even possibly get any better and be our franchise QB that we have been looking for for so long
BengalBax
Well, you guys sure as h3ll can't use the "DEFENSE" as a crutch this week. Our D has played great. What's the excuse now? Don't say penalties, they have had about as many as us. Don't blame Brat. I't critical mistakes like these that are costing us game. Mistakes that are a direct result in POINTS. URGH
bengalboomer7
I can't give up yet, I'm sorry I just can't
belmontbengal
Very disappointed in the entire offense. Not just Carson. Is it his fault when he has about 1000 pounds of Steeler breathing down his neck evey time the ball is snapped?I agree however, that safety was a BONEHEAD play.To have our defense play so solidly and see an outcome like this is sickening to say the least. bengalboomer7
Just wanted to say bye guys, I don't think I'll be here all week. So, if you'll excuse me I've got to go to Cincy to get my heart back since it was violently plucked from my chest
WhoDey93285
Palmer actually played miles better than McNabb and Brady did. We just got beat by a better disciplined and better talented team.
schweinhart
No, this was Carson. He stunk up the joint. He's the QB of future because he's got some skills plus he's getting beaucoup cash. But they need to get Kitna some snaps anyway.
UK Bengal
gutted that game was there for the taking and the WHOLE offence not just palmer let the team down and they should be appologising the the defence and the fans because that was an abysmal performance
EdwardG
What's the excuse now?We aren't as good as Pittsburgh.
Bobcat Bengal
I'm extremely disappointed after this loss........I don't even know where to start.....the D played excellent though. The offense..................... whatever. Nice Jekyll and Hyde performance, and way to keep earning those flags.Palmer spotted them another 9 points....he must really like the Steelers or something. UK Bengal
if this was palmers fault as you so claim they what your saying is our recivers were allways open and he couldnt find them dont talk out your ass the recivers needed to get open the line needed to block well they didnt yeah palmer made mistakes but you just dont seem to realise this is his 1ST YEAR starting their will be mistakes made. If he is still doing this next year then id agree he hasent learned squat and they we need to think about benching him.
ShulaSteakhouse
We aren't as good as PittsburghThat's the truth here. Palmer makes too many mistakes still and could use some better protection. That'll change, the talent level this season won't...unfortunately. He was TRIPLE covered. But, hell, the recievers were open all day as you claim, so maybe I missed something.Save your breath, energy, finger strength, whatever, cuz its falling on deaf ears. schweinhart
This doesn't have as much to do w/ receivers being open as it does w/ CP's ability to lead and make plays. Observe Big Ben, he does this and as a result he is a key factor in Steelers' 9-1 record rather than the key contributor to losses due to bad decisions.CP didn't cut the mustard today and this was the game where the mustard needed to be cut. I'd like to see him benched next week just for poor performance but it don't really matter. Still would like to see Kitna get a couple games this year since it won't matter playoff wise.
