People keep doubting him and he keeps producing in tough situations. He had nowhere to run all night - it was all Rudi - and now people are doubting his efforts against the #1 run defense as he shreds them for 22-119 and a 36 yd TD. And he did the same thing to Pittsburgh two games ago. When does it sink in that he's a legit NFL back to Bengals' fans? The problems with the offense are on the 0-line and not in the backfield or at QB. CJ, Palmer and Rudi are a great core to build a team around.Keeping Rudi and letting Dillon go and be happy somewhere else was the right move. For more than one reason. TippCityRick Posted October 26, 2004 Report Share Posted October 26, 2004 All positive this week (or at least today!!). Rudi was great. Did what he did which is make something out of nothing. Yeah, he got stuffed on 4th and 1, but I put that one on the line. Again, Denver's D was not #1 against the run coming in for nothing. He did not give up when he had guys hangin on him, he kept movin his feet and got a couple extra yards every once in a while. Yeah, he got stopped on that 4th and 1, but I'm not sure we should've gone for that, and especially run it up the middle. We weren't able to run up the middle the whole night especially within the 5 yd line.
