Kirkendall
From Cincy EnquirerNO RESPECT: ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown" show will be heavy on the Denver Broncos and light on the Bengals.ESPN will dedicate four segments to the Broncos and one to the Bengals, on wide receiver Chad Johnson, in its 90-minute show that starts at 7:30 p.m."His Pepto-Bismol stunt left Chad Johnson red-faced, so it's back to work to make up for it in the national spotlight," read an ESPN press release. "The Bengal receiver has been known to spend an entire night at the Bengal practice facility."
LABengalsFan09
What else is new, if it's not Peter King, it's Michael Irvin, if not Irvin, it's Dan Marino. Everyone loves to trash this team..... I hope PBS is serving crow sandwiches monday night!!!!!!!!! And how about a new angle on Chad, I am sick of the sleeping at the facility story. There is more to him and the others in that building than that story.
BengalBobNC
I really didn't expect much else. Writers are already using the "Bungal" tag again. Being 1-4 with a swiss cheese defense will do that. Some of the worst Bengal teams in the past would get fired up and whoop the smelly stuff out of the opposing team. Maybe they will be fired up Monday night. We can only hope.
HoosierCat
Actually, ESPN's focus on the Broncs is probably a good thing.Just imagine the segments if they focused on the Bengals...They could have turned this into an hour and a half bust-on-the-Bungals fest, and have apperntly chosen not to, so props to espn.In any event, I won't be able to watch it, since I'll be spending early Monday evening in front of about 800 people giving a presentation, an annual lowlight of my year. (I hate public speaking.) And since the in hours afterwards I will be as far as I can be away from having to slog through the event again next year, absolutely nothing -- not even a 1,000-point Bengal loss -- will be able to ruin my night.Like they say, timing is everything... ackley1
Nobody wants to talk about losers. They could talk about how many ways the Bungles could lose this game. That would take up a good portion of the show.

Every time I see a damned highlight for another team--there's usually either a Bungle Player or Aints Player following a guy into the end zone for a TD.What did you want??? A segment on "How Not to Run an NFL Team"????Seriously.
