HoosierCat Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Which injured players will be able to come back after the extra week off? According to bengals.com, Beckett is the only guy they aren't sure about. He's on his fifth concussion since college so they are bringing in some additional medical opinions. Quote
BengalBobNC Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 According to a report on Cincinnati Enquirer Bengals Pagewe may have a few more players back:Lewis is looking forward to having wide receiver Peter Warrick, center Rich Braham, safety Kim Herring and defensive lineman Carl Powell back from injuries after the bye. But injuries will prevent Lewis from practicing as aggressively as he did at the 2003 bye."We need to give our guys some rest also," he said. "We have a two-edged sword right now." Quote
bengalsfan33 Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I hope to see Powell get back in there. The D-Line is very weak right now. Quote
Barbarian Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I hope to see Powell get back in there. The D-Line is very weak right now. Powell coming back won't matter. The Defensive Line is still getting run the f**k over. Next year, I hope the Bungles are smarter by drafting a DT in the 1st 2 rounds!!!!!! Quote

Him and Deltha would be a solid CB duo. The first 4 rounds should be all defensive players though, the offense is set in terms of personnel, except for maybe a better TE.EDIT: of course this is what SHOULD happen Quote

Kirk, I actually like your idea better depending on what position the Bungles Draft.I'm thinking that the Bungles are going to draft higher--being 1-3 and all. Maybe even in the top 10. Is there a DT that could possibly go in the top 10???How about a Center in the 1st 40 picks??? Quote
