kevnz
How many of you stupid SOB's calling for Kitna think Kitna could have won that game against Baltimore??????He don't make tackles. The defense cost this team the loss not Kitna. Do any of you actually know football? The team is losing, you have to throw. He threw the ball 52 times. Only three picks against the Ravens? That's pretty damn good when you consider that they knew we were throwing.I can see calling for Frazier to go, or even Brat to go. But you're either stupid or a troll to be calling for Palmer after one bad game when Kitna lost the last game he played against these same Ravens.Don't like me calling you stupid??? Take it up in a Private Message.
BengalBax
The defense can only do so much Kev. Wake up. We made two big turnovers, and turned around and.......................killed a drive with a STUPID, ROOKIE interception. ARE YOU SERIOUS????????????????????Any defense, when exposed ALL DAY because the inept offense can't DRIVE THE BALL will make mistakes. ANY. But you know that, since you know football right?Emotions are CRUSHED when you force a fumble and your offense comes out and gets into scoring position then......throws a crucial INT. See where I am going with this?Re-evaluate
B24
The defense cost this team the loss not Kitna. Palmer didn't cost this team the loss either.
jditty47
lets re-evaluate the fact that on the 1 fumble by boller it happened after they drove the field and got it to the 2...gave us horrible field position. We never had good field position all game, wanna know why? Cuz the defense didnt stop s**t.
kevnz
Re-evaluate Re-evaluate 10+ yards a carry. They couldn't stop anybody before the turnover, they couldn't stop them after the turnover. Did I ever say Palmer played mistake free ball?? Hell no. Palmer is gonna make mistakes. But then so does Brett Favre. The fact is Kitna reached his upper limit, Palmer has room to grow. JPW
Any defense, when exposed ALL DAY because the inept offense can't DRIVE THE BALL will make mistakes. ANY. But you know that, since you know football right?Facts :398 total net yards...26 first downs......total plays 82...TOP 33:12...Yea that must have been it.....The inept offense just couldn't drive the ball at ALL so the defense was on the field all day.Bax you are a f**king Idiot... JPW
Some of you guys are pretty rude. You come on here as a brand new poster....You start a thread designed to start a QB controversy....You ignore the fact that "BashTheBengalsBAX" already had a "smack Palmer" thread of his own started....You top it off by hanging a f**king smiley on your "dump Palmer" thread....On further review...The call stands......TROLLThere is NO QB controversy in Cincinnati. And even if you post 100 threads on Kitna there still won't be one.Carson Palmer IS The Bengals QB.... Cant the dude have an opinion???I dont think he is trolling......Trolls:From TheInsider:"Some people will post messages that are designed to generate strong negative reactions. The usual reason they do this is just to draw attention to themselves, or to enjoy the commotion they cause"This guys posts are DESIGNED to start a QB controversy.... From teamtechnology:"Trolls are relatively easy to spot....you can look for some or all of the following signs": 1) generally low level of activity, with sudden spurts of interaction...2) a new persona that has strong opinions on controversial subjects... 3) a mixture of friendly posts with a confrontational style of interaction....4) the use of provocative language and sweeping generalizations... 5) a lack of in-depth understanding of the topic...6) restarting topics that have already been done 7) the use of attention-seeking gimmick..... This guy has most if not all of those Signs Hanging all over him....Even after all the Kitna threads were merged he still started yet another post on Kitna, or was it two more ?All that he is looking to do is start a QB controversy where there ISN'T one. That is a Troll....And while I am at it.....I used to think that BengalBashingPOX (BengalBax) was just a freaking Idiot.I was wrong.....TROLL
WHO DEY AGAIN?
Just ignore his posts. Don't respond and give him a chance. BTW I knew he was a troll but I had the team wrong. I thought he was a fan of the new Brown's not the old ones. I vote to ban the moron!

I couldn't agree more. Really the strongest thing is that the idiot only posts when the Bengals lose. Where was he after the Miami game? nowhere. He talked a load of rubbish until the Miami game and then vanished and didn't show his sorry ass around here until the Ravens game. He then totally ignores the actual facts of the game and the reality of football in this day and age.

jjakq27
I am in favor of Y E S Looks to me like Palmer is now LOSING games for us...correct? Looking forward to many intelligent responses... Yep, that was him missing a bunch of tackles against Jamal Lewis and that was him messing up on punt coverage. The man shouldn't have to throw 52 times. In fact we were promised by our head coach that the Bengals were not going to put it on Palmer to wins games. But guess what, we are hoping he can pull it out because our defense is unable to stop anyone in the first half.
jjakq27
ya i dont know why anyone is even argueing with the pro-kitna ppl, there is 0 no none zilch zippo nadda chance that hes gonna play this year.Wanna lay money on that? Please say yes. Once again, I promise to be back after the Bengals 5th game to say "I told you so". Marvin done said that he will NOT let this get out of hand if Palmer starts to fail. NEWSFLASHMike brown has WAYYYY to much going for this season to allow a 6-10 or 5-11 finish. If that happens, everything that was worked for last season is for NAUGHT.Trust me guys, Hairy Palmer has been figured out. Defenses now know how to play him. Jesus Christ could come down and suit up and it won't get Palmer back on track. Sunday comes early, watch and see.Kitna in Game 6. There was proabaly a post by you last year saying "Palmer by game 6".
BengalBax
There was proabaly a post by you last year saying "Palmer by game 6". Search for it, it isn't there.I also said AFTER week 1 of teh PRESEASON this team was GARBAGE, and you idiots started your crap of "IT IS 1 PRESEASON GAME!". Say what you want about me not knowing football, looks like I know a lot more than most of you people right now. I called it in August. This team is not half the team our 8-8 (Yes Coslet was 8-8 too) team was last year. Why? We were average last year with a bad defense and good QB play. Now we have a bad D and bad QB play. Go figure. bengalsfansince68
Hey Bax,How many players go from 8 years of mediocre play to super star status? When Palmer has played in several consecutive Pro Bowls and a couple of Super Bowls, we will all be able to laugh at what an idiot you were during his rookie season.Kitna has never been a great qb and will never be one.You sir, are no Barbarian. Arizona
2 Points:- I am very unhappy my thread was closed. All you people are doing is talking about how they play quarterback. i want to know about your quarterbacks in terms of eating. I feel robbed.- also, it hurts me to see you all fighting with each other. As such, allow me to focus your rage at me. here goes:You deserve to feel bad for thinking you had a real team. Bungles suck. Go Ravens. Palmer am like little boys.

Kirkendall
We should close the forum down for a day or so, hand out mr. happy -- i.e half-baked -- and start up again. We definitely are fighting with each other a lot and this place is a little more tense.
mnbengalfan
I agree with a lot of these last posts. We could call for Kitna, which I really like and am sorry to see not start, but Palmer needs a few more games. Yeah, he has made a few mistakes for a rookie. We do play as a team and we made curtis martin look like the best back in the league. I am truly amazed we don't see more posts on our O and D lines. They are really what make or break a team are they not? Good line gives the QB time and not too many CB's can cover their guy for that long. As for D line it the reverse, we get the ball carrier or QB early less work our CB's do. Go Bengals.
