TJJackson
I am hoping they will re-sign Higgins but I will say that I think their actions and non-actions with Higgins up til now will make him less than willing to sign with us. If he does sign, it will only be because our offer beats all others and then some. He may at this point be willing to take less to just not be playing for the Brown family, farting in their general direction as he leaves Its good that we have Yoshi and Burton under contract. But the two of them combined are not remotely equal to Higgins Yoshi got a lot better this season, but he would have to take another equally massive step forward next season to be a good WR2
gregcook68
Unfortunately, if the family philosophy doesn’t change when MB passes on, then we know that things will remain status quo. It’s ownership that’s the problem and you can’t FIRE the owner! With this ownership, firing Taylor isn’t the answer because they’ll just replace him with another just like him. Even PB, who had a brilliant no nonsense football mind, appointed Tiger Johnson as HC, over Bill Walsh, just because he didn’t like Walsh!
