ArmyBengal
Carson had nothing but great things to say about Chad in the interviews and said absolutely NO ONE outworked him. I think it had been mentioned here that Houshmandzadeh was actually more of a cancer than Chad ever was. He was also the one person I thought would have been in the episode, but was not. Coincidence ?? Who knows ?? The talk about the New England offense being too complex for Chad is apparently pretty accurate as well. They wanted him to be VERY exact in his routes and stick to the expectations to a tee. That wasn't exactly the deal in Cincinnati. Why did Chad find it more complex ?? Maybe because of how he said he HATED school but loved football. Maybe he just didn't have the smarts to handle an offensive playbook like New England's. I still say had Kimo not crushed Carson's knee, we win the Super Bowl that year and the story ends completely differently. Like I said before, an opportunity missed.
