HoosierCat
Failing that, is Lee Johnson still bumming around anywhere? Great game, but jeez do we need a punter or what? When they signed Johnson I started a thread, Bengals Sign Crappy Punter. I should have titled it Bengals Sign ANOTHER Crappy Punter... That said, all praise to the Bengals for whipping the crap out of the Pats!
skyline
Give them some time. I agree that tonight has raised some punting question marks, but they were both great college punters. Let's give them a little more time before we decide they're both worthless.

My guess is that they will be doing a lot of work with them in the next 3 weeks.Kyle Larson set a Nebraska record last season with a 45.1-yard punting average (66-2978) … Was a finalist for 2003 Ray Guy Award (to nation’s top punter), and was first-team All-America selection by American Football Coaches Association. And Johnson was outstanding in college to.We just need one of them to "step up" and Punt the Ball like they can. Hey, they have plenty of time in my books. About 2 more weeks, to be precise...
skyline
Larson's average tonight was over 40 yards, though, right? Not GREAT, but not as embarassing as it could have been.
HoosierCat
Agreed, Larson wasn't horrible (it sounded like Eddie Johnson was, tho) but he wasn't much, if any, better than Richardson. I do have to give the kid belated props for his work holding for Graham; he did well considering it was his first time holding under fire at any level. Given the injury to Richardson, which Lap said last night is a bad one that will take 3-4 months to heal, Larson looks to have the inside track right now.
