zerawkid
>> All I am saying guys is that Marvin isn't the "messiah" you think he is.Look at our best players:Chad Johnson-Drafted before MarvinJon Kitna last year-Marvin had no input on getting ths guyRudi Johnson-Once again, Marvin had no input on getting this guy.Our studs were here before Marvin. Look at what he has drafted iin the past 2 years. Only player to be worth a $hit is Steinbach. Palmer hasn't played a game yet. Jeremi Johnson is a fat@ss. Wethersby was shot for god's sake and this guy DRAFTED him. Perry was/is a holdout and behind, fumbled on his first carry for god's sake. Ratliff is invisible so far. I mean come on...we went 8-8. 8-8.I wanna see playoffs THIS year. Not next year. THIS YEAR. Quit taking chances on these project guys Marvin. Get gamers. And while your at it, get your defense together, since you are such an "expert" at it. LOL guys lighten up <<How about this for a good break down:You're an idiot. If you aren't willing to grant Marvin Lewis credit and some form of recognition, you're a nut. Perhaps too chapped by all the losing, but an idiot.WHO DEY!
BengalBax
Your right I am an idiot...Come see me in January when we finish 6-10 and keep talking that crap. Nice try.I want this team to be IMPROVED this year, but Coach Perfecto has set us back three years. The clock is ticking...

Horrible! Other teams regularly have 5, 6, even 7 rookie draft picks go to the Pro Bowl in year 1!And I don't know what Marvin is thinking when it comes to personnel selected by Bruce Coslet and Dick LeBeau, two legendary coaches who are sure to get into the Hall on the first ballot! Why, just look at the list of awesome players Marvin has foolishly cut! If we'd kept these guys, we'd be playoff-bound for sure!Artrelle HawkinsMike GoffMatt O'Dwyer Jeff Burris Riall JohnsonBrandon BennettMark RomanOliver GibsonScott RehbergDwayne LevelsAdrian RossClearly, Marvin is an idiot, the bengals are doomed to another decade of losing! Black'n'Orange
You guys are hilarious! Getting worked up over 1...... I repeat....1 pre-season game. Marvin is not the Messiah.....he is however the best thing to happen to this team in a long time.He has given this team confidence...and he is changing a perception of a team that has been a laughing stock for years
Tampa Bengal
Well, if Marvin Lewis is as "right" about Palmer as he was about Wethersby we are in major trouble Ah yes the magic crystal ball that Marvin uses to predict car wrecks.I'm surprised he isn't standing on the highway now just looking for the next big pileup. If we'd hung onto Foley and Reinard Wilson, we'd have the No. 1 D in the NFL right now!

BengalBax
Dennis Weathersby was shot before the draft, am I correct? Ok just makig sure...Even before the wreck guys he was a walking wounded. A major gamble we should NOT have taken, ALA Palmer. We SHOULD have darfted Newman, we NEEDED a corner. Instead we are stuck with palmer, replacing a guy who threw 26 tds last last, and a d@mn reject who was moved to reciever for GOD'S sake...Get a clue guys, he's set us back 3 years. brian5562
I don't now why I am even posting on this thread but anyway. Marvin and this "New" Bengals team accomplished something that hasn't been done in Cincinnati in a long time, that is having the whole city excited for this upcoming season. If you people honestly belive Kitna should be the starter take a look at the game again. Number 9 looked like a vet to me with command of the huddle huge poise in the pocket and a rifle instead of a sling shot. Palmer will remind Bengals fans what a REAL NFL qb is supposed to look like. Ok just makig sure...Even before the wreck guys he was a walking wounded. A major gamble we should NOT have taken, ALA Palmer. Before he was shot, he was a projected late first/early second rounder. ML drafted him in the fourth round. I don't see how that's a gamble given his huge upside.
