ArmyBengal
The difference for me with the Seahawks is that they ARE that good. When showboating goes wrong usually involves a team or player not being as good as they thought they were to start.Seriously, take a minute to think about what they just did to Brees. He looked less than average last night. The Seahawks are stacked.

He looked less than average last night. The Seahawks are stacked. No question. But look at their season scores. They are playing lights out and have had back to back games that may indicate they are peaking. Four games left before playoffs. Could be a perfect time to peak, or, it could be early, depending! With them, I'd probably say it's good to go time! We'll see!As far as showboating going wrong, I'm talking about IF they have a game or two where they aren't hitting on all cylinders, doesn't matter how good they are.Like the Dez Bryant scenario with the Cowboys. Is he good? Absolutely! Not as good as he thinks he is, because he thinks he's as good as Calvin Johnson. But when things start breaking down, often the divas start finger pointing and that causes resentment.I'm not taking away from the Seahawks, but I'm a Bengals fan and I only have to hope, what I know is possible, to become reality! Because, we all know, that a breakdown and team dissension is probably the only way to beat them right now!The other thing that we have to keep in mind, is the year that the Pats were undefeated and came up against a wild card Giant team. Nobody ever believed the Giants would beat them, but they did with a few breaks on offense and a tenacious defense, and that was against veteran team. Seattle is young, good, but young.Time will tell!! I would love to see the Bengals win their first SB by knocking them off their high horse! It's not anymore impossible than the scenario above!!
