jjakq27
I like the Whit to guard and AC to tackle reshuffling that happened yesterday. I think they may have done that earlier this year when Zeitler went down.It sort of reminds me of when Rudi Johnson stepped in for Corey Dillon in 2003. The replacement was better than the starter. It appears that Boling may be done for the year so I would stick with this lineup and don't look back. AC is fresh and Whit seemed like a natural as a pulling guard. The contractual stuff will work it self out after the season.
Earendil
Dalton threw a few nice passes in the second half, that's all I can say. He got into his patented miss in the first half, throwing it like 8 feet too high. Hopefully Andy will feel compassionate and be the donor when AJ needs a new kidney in about ten years. And shouldn't that hit have been "defenseless receiver" type personal foul?If Burfict had made that hit, it would have been.
HoosierCat
I would caution against reading too much into the success of the line shuffle yesterday. San Diego's run defense is abysmal. That said, Indy's isn't much better so this is a good lineup for next week. And in any event I like it because it puts our two most experienced linemen in front of Andy, and that's where his pressure problems have come from, not off the edge.Still fired up about this win this morning! Who freakin dey!

jjakq27
BTW, was there any further discussion or revelations about why Big Dre wasn't a starter yesterday?

The answer is easy!I think this line change may be a bit of advantage if we have to play the Jets, Pats or Dolphins in the playoffs since they faced a different offensive line in the first meeting. Maybe more running the second time around.
HoosierCat
BTW, was there any further discussion or revelations about why Big Dre wasn't a starter yesterday? Not that I have seen. All I can guess is that he did something over the bye week, like blowing off a meeting, that got him sht-listed.

gregcook68
This latest development could pave the way to a nice contract for Collinsoh wait, he was headed for a nice contract anyway - I'm saying the contract would be HEREoh, and....We won in spite of Dalton! He's still not a SB QB! *dodges multiple objects thrown by GregCook*You are a rascal TJ!!!!
