ArmyBengal
The Reds keep things going tonight at home starting up a 3 game series against the Dodgers.Leake, Latos and Bailey will take the mound against a very good Dodgers team who has all but locked up the NL West. They are a good road team, having been playing well lately, and the pitching draws are tough. The Reds need to stay on top of things with the Cards and Pirates starting up a 3 game series tonight in St. Louis. It's time to put up or shut up.GO REDS !!! ArmyBengal
They actually benefitted (hopefully) with Ryu getting hurt and another dude getting the start tonight.Ryu, Greinke, and Kershaw ?? Wow that's a very tough set to have to muscle through.Getting the first one tonight is key.

UK Bengal
Billy Hamilton is a cheat code. That dude is gonna win a lot of ballgames for the reds. His first 4 attempts made wow just wow. That sprint from second to home of frasers hit was fast thats just a third base for anyone else other than robinson maybe?
skyline
Over the moon that they've taken the first two of this series.I'm happy regardless of what happens today, but if they beat Kershaw, then I'll be fast becoming a believer. ArmyBengal
1.5 games back with the Cards and Pirates playing one more today ??The Reds take the first two from the Dodgers ??Me having any energy at all after a week that saw a new job, a sick kid, and starting my Master's program ??Color me thrilled to no end. Hope to make it through the day without completely crashing !!!GO REDS !!!
Sea Ray
Yeah. This one has me nervous. Here's hoping we get some home-field magic. How's that for some magic? They won all those games in typical Reds fashion: good pitching, minimal hitting, nail biting, late inning heroics. With the way things turned out in Chicago today, how 'bout directing our attention towards the baseball diamond? The Reds are peaking at the right time
ArmyBengal
It's time to put up or shut up.Hate to quote myself, but am using it to say the Reds really put up in this series. They came out and took care of business.Keep the focus, keep the focus !!! Stripes
Great, unexpected sweep. Hopefully St. Louis starts to flounder in their upcoming road schedule while the Reds keep winning at home to take the Central. Pittsburgh is right there too obviously.Votto needs to pull himself completely out of his funk though.
redsbengalsbucks
Well after watching the Bengals make mistake after mistake to hand the game to the Bears and getting creamed in fantasy football, the Reds made me a happy camper again. What a stretch 3 out of 4 from the cards and sweeping the Dodgers. Hope it keeps rolling for the Redlegs.
skyline
Votto needs to pull himself completely out of his funk though.Votto had a GREAT series against the Dodgers. He just ran into Kershaw yesterday...he's not the first good hitter to be shut down by that guy.Thank goodness Bruce seemed to have his #. Stripes
That could be. I probably missed some of what happened between that 0-7 disaster and yesterday's 0-4.
skyline
That could be. I probably missed some of what happened between that 0-7 disaster and yesterday's 0-4.I believe he reached base 100% of the time during games 1 and 2 v. LA not to mention hitting the game-winning 2 run HR in one of the two...
Stripes
Oh, well then I stand by my initial gripe. TERRIBLE!
