nfl391
Hi everyone, This is my first post in this forum. I'm a regular poster at CincyJungle. For a few months now, I've made multiple Bengals NFL Films preview trailers on YouTube that I created, edited, and produced. All the HD video footage was collected by me through various television and online NFL Films shows, and all the music is from my personal NFL Films music library (over 400 songs). The folks at CincyJungle have loved them, and I thought I would post them on another popular Bengals fan site for others to enjoy. The execution isn't always easy, but the formula's pretty simple. It all starts with the music, choosing an NFL Films song that fits the mood: a fast-paced intense song for a relentless defense, an adventurous and glorious song for an offense on all cylinders, a somber song for lowlights, a beautiful orchestral song for extended slow motion shots, or a dramatic song for a dramatic situation. The next step is to consistently match up good footage with the music, such as a bone-crunching hit or clutch reception with the clashing of cymbals, or a long pass with the shrill of vocals. I also try to include on-field sound during the softer portions of the music, and have somewhat of an overall storyline in each video. Note that none of this has Hard Knocks footage. It's mostly from the 2012 season and small portions from the 2011 season. I plan to do a few videos with Hard Knocks footage when the series finishes airing, but I am being wary about that because YouTube has banned people who have posted full unedited 2013 Bengals HK episodes. It's somewhat strange considering the entire 2012 Dolphins and 2009 Bengals series have been up for a while and haven't been taken down. Still, YouTube has not had problems with my videos which I personally created, at least so far. Even better, my NFL Films music library has over 30 songs composed exclusively for the Hard Knocks series itself, which I will put to use in those videos.Enjoy!2013 Bengals Trailer #1 "Play To Win"2013 Bengals Trailer #2 "Believe In Yourself"2013 Bengals Trailer #3 "Who Dey!"2013 Andy Dalton to AJ Green Trailer2013 Bengals Defensive Line and Linebackers Trailer2013 Bengals Running Game Trailer2013 Bengals Supporting Wide Receivers Trailer
nfl391
I also wanted to point out that you can see the video descriptions for the names of each of the NFL Films songs used and their corresponding album names. Of course, there are multiple songs for most of the videos, so they're listed in order. Most of the songs are available for purchase right now on iTunes, Google Play, eMusic, and other common online music sites. A few others were limited release only, and are not available anymore. One more quick thing: I received some criticisms from a few YouTube posters and CJ members about including a few lowlights in some of the videos (with somber music to boot), but I just want to show that it hasn't been all roses for the Bengals. Overall though, the videos are overwhelmingly positive.
agreen_112
Good work, it takes a lot of work to put these together. You must have a ton of free time. Are you local (Cincy, OH)?
nfl391
Yes, I am local. This actually did not take as long as one might think...I attend school and have a job as well. I'm a graduate student but this summer has been mostly free beyond my job. I just set aside a small portion of time, mainly on weekends, to do these. Remember, these were done over the span of 3 months.

HoosierCat
Good stuff. That clip of Marvin on the sideline telling them to take deep breaths needs to be played for knee-jerk fans about 15 times a game.
