ArmyBengal Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Normally the football season never ends for me. I enjoy every aspect of the offseason stuff as well. After the season, you have the combine, free agency, OTA's, watching as other teams besides the Bengals get their picks into camp on time, the start of training camp, pre season, and then the season starts. There are some slow times to it all, but for the most part, if you want to keep looking, there is always something to discuss. You also can't forget fantasy football and seeing how the draft picks can be used in the upcoming season. With the CBA issues, this obviously slows GREATLY. Thank God for the Reds !!! Quote

ArmyBengal Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 I also like picking up a magazine or two prior to the draft to read some more about the players and look at the stats.I can do that online, but having the magazine handy makes it a bit easier. The same can be said heading into fantasy football. I love the magazines and comparing strengths of schedule to how I might rank my own players. For example, I targeted and drafted Ray Rice a couple seasons ago and Arian Foster this past season. Both of those players have led me to back to back championships at work.I simply love football and if the season doesn't kick off, college ball will MORE than keep me busy because I keep up with them almost as much.
