jjakq27
BTW, did anyone see Dez Briscoe's catch vs. the Saints yesterday?/>http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2011010212/2010/REG17/buccaneers@saints#tab:watch
ArmyBengal
I saw Briscoe's catch yesterday and have thought about him quite often through this season.I know many people didn't like the pick, but I did. We got him late and he has day one talent. There was two sides to that coin, but it's neither here nor there at this point.I'm still trying to figure out why this team didn't take a chance on Blount in the late rounds...Thank God we have Otis Hudson huh ??F*CK !!! HairOnFire
I know many people didn't like the pick, but I did. We got him late and he has day one talent. There was two sides to that coin, but it's neither here nor there at this point. I'd say the reasons against are definately still here. In fact, after this season we're talking more and more about the roster mismanagement seen under Lewis, and drafting a player specifically to stash him on the practice squad fits neatly into that debate. I'm still trying to figure out why this team didn't take a chance on Blount in the late rounds... I've mostly stayed out of the Blount discussion so I'll limit myself to two quick points. First, Tampa Bay's remarkable improvement on offense is largely the result of that team ignoring character issue in the draft. Or if you prefer, shopping for bargains. And there's the rub because it's been proven to work as often as it fails. Last, I have repeatedly applauded Tampa Bay's unusual strategy of claiming players from other teams practice squad, and I wonder why more teams, especially bad ones, don't do it more often. jjakq27
S Cary Harris, signed to the Bengals' offseason roster on Jan. 3, has become a free agent. Harris' contract was voided by the NFL for procedural reasons, and the Bengals are not pursuing a re-signing at this time. A second-year NFL player, Harris was signed to the Bengals practice squad for the last three games of 2010.http://cincinnati.co...ontract-voided/
jjakq27
http://www.bengals.c...be-5e78720f78a4CB David Pender has been added to the Bengals offseason roster and now counts toward the squad limit of 80 players. Pender has been with the Bengals since Dec. 28 of last year, when he was claimed on waivers from Indianapolis, but he was under an NFL roster exemption from Dec. 29 until Feb. 10, when the exemption expired.Pender, from Purdue, played in three games as a rookie last season for Indianapolis. He is classified a first-year NFL player in 2011.
