BengalPimp Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Oh to be that orange Pom Pom just for a day !!!!!! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 6, 2010 Author Report Posted November 6, 2010 Cam's numbers for today:Passing... 16 for 22, 323 yards, 4 TD's.Rushing... 5 for 50 yards, 1 TD.Not too shabby for a QB who called it a day after the 3rd quarter!Does anyone else notice the similarity between Newton and Palmer besides their height?Look at their left hands during the pass. Identical! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 26, 2010 Author Report Posted November 26, 2010 I can't believe how Alabama is dismantling Auburn today! The Tigers defense can't get off the stinking field! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 26, 2010 Author Report Posted November 26, 2010 Great game! Auburn storms back behind Newton to draw within three! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 26, 2010 Author Report Posted November 26, 2010 Newton leads the Tigers back for a huge win while breaking Bo Jackson's rushing record at Auburn. Not bad for a QB. Quote
cincy9275 Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 i agree with army, none of these guys are nfl qb's. to bad for newton every thing he is doing now, will not matter once they find out how much his dad got paid. the fact that cams dad asked for money is a violation of the ncaa. it's only a matter of time before the ncaa comes down on auburn. i think it's going to get real ugly for auburn. but cam will get a shot at the nfl. robinson just a rb/wr playing qb as of now. even with rich or a new coach i still don't see robinson ever being a nfl qb. more than likely he will go the route of randle el. there's no doubting that he has talent. pryor has developed in to a qb but, is not a very good passer at all. i think he has a chance of getting a shot at qb at the next level. just because he is in a stable environment and a very stable staff. also getting another year to mature as a passer under tressel. you would think only helps pryor. being a osu fan, i still don't see pryor playing qb in the nfl as of now. all 3 will get a chance at the nfl, as qb's it's unlikely. Passepartout Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Wonder if he goes to the NFL draft next year, if he will be #1? Wouldn't be surprising. Plus, his team very barely beat Alabama by one point! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Strikes me as a Jamarcus Russell type. Big kid that's hard to bring down, mobile, with a big arm and had one season of success. He may go on to a great NFL career, but it's to difficult to judge these guys.Denard Robinson is a WR in the NFL. Pryor ?? Immature and poor decision making processes. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 The best thing Cam could do is go back to college for his senior season and prove he's not just this one season. Then again, he could carry this one season into a multi-million dollar contract who wouldn't care how it turned out.Give me Luck.Oh yeah, Locker, who appeared that he would have been a top pick last year, reminds me a Kyle Boller this year. cincy9275 Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 i don't think cam is going to have any choice but to go pro. no way the ncaa is going to let him play next season. it a well known fact his dad tried to get paid. that is a direct violation of the ncaa. with the facts that are well know, how cam is still playing now in unreal. BengalszoneBilly Posted December 4, 2010 Author Report Posted December 4, 2010 So, anyone watching the SEC Championship game? Looks to be a shootout! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 4, 2010 Author Report Posted December 4, 2010 Jesus Christ! Cam Newton is blowing up South Carolina all on his own. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Anyway around, the Auburn / Oregon championship should be a good game to watch. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 There will be some other BCS bowls I'm looking forward to watching as well. The Ohio State / Arkansas game should be an interesting matchup. The Wisconsin / TCU game finally gives TCU a shot against a real team. And for the WTF BCS matchup, I give you Oklahoma / UConn.I mean, really ?? Oklahoma should destroy these guys.Lastly, since the regular college season has come to an end...F*CK THE BCS !!! This would be a great season to see a college playoff. Quote
Kazkal Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 I think Stanford got screwed They are 4th in the Nation but facing 13th ranked Va Tech...So Ranked higher and being from pac 10 shouldn't they be in the Rose Bowl instead of Wisconsin? ArmyBengal Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 The Big 10 champ and the PAC-10 champ get the automatic bid to the Rose Bowl, hence Wisconsin.Oregon plays in the NC game, so the BCS get to choose who the other school will be, it doesn't go to the next best within conference.Agree it's not quite the matchup they were looking for. BengalszoneBilly Posted December 12, 2010 Author Report Posted December 12, 2010 No shocker here. Cam Newton wins the Heisman in a landslide, and no more surprising than Navy trumping Army for the 9th time in a row! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 I can't remember a time I was less interested in the Heisman. It's never been a sporting "high priority" for me in the past, but this was ridiculously predictable.Sad part is, I still have little faith in what Newton will do at the next level.
