Assuming that information is mostly accurate, it suggests to me that Palmer's biggest problem right now is pocket awareness. If most of his problems are coming when the pocket is collapsing or any one defender is getting close, he probably shouldn't ignore the rush completely and throw the ball as if his pocket were entirely clean. Unfortunately he isn't at all mobile so getting out of the pocket to either draw the defense out of coverage or to throw the ball away is easier said than done.

Ever since early 2008 when the signs first started to show that Palmer might be struggling, most people have seemed to blame his arm strength. I never understood that and I still don't.
