* Tronzo looked good the other night, Fui has never played a game in the NFL. It seems as though he is being given the job rather than having to win it. What gives? Last time I checked, Tronzo hasn’t played a game in the NFL either. Fui was here last year and has the experience. Tronzo has his chance to show what he has.

* Have the Bengals been using the wildcat at all in camp? Was used a couple times.

* How many TE do they normally keep? If three, who’s on the outside looking in? 4, including the long snapper. Coats and Hill are on the outside but depending on what happens at fullback, Coats could say and land there.

* Do you think the Bengals will look at an injury settlement with Bryant? It’s a distinct possibility

* Can Andre Smith be put on the PUP if he can’t get into football shape in time for the season to start? Yes. Would miss the first six games if that happened.

* Starting linebackers and safetys this year? If healthy — Maualuga, Jones and Rivers at LBs; Crocker and R.Williams at safety.

* Is Westbrook a real consideration for 3rd down back? Blocks & catches & can’t be too expensive? Let me repeat once more the most important stat that people for some reason continue to blindly overlook — two concussions last year in a three-week span.

* If the Bengals signed James Johnson and moved Eason to IR, doesn’t that mean they’ll still need another training camp body for the backfield since Leonard is down too? Depends how healthy Peerman is

* Matt Jones has often been compared to the likes of Chris Henry in having the ability to stretch the field with his “speed”. Is this a true statement? He looked incredibly slow in Sundays performance? He’s not a burner, but with his size and hands, he is a pretty big target. And once he gets out in the open, there’s that long strides thing.

* How is Gresham looking since his rough last week? Palmer been working with him? Still taking reps with the first team.

* Does Shipley have the edge on Cosby for punt returner now? Still even

At first glance these two jumped out...

Yea really worst move ever, that year Coats played FB it was horrible. Nobody would notice if he was gone so just let him go. If you want a FB then sign a "real FB".

I'm still waiting for the vaunted H-back position to pan out for the team. Maybe he can play there.

I will be watching to see how JTO plays over the next few weeks. He looks disinterested and sullen in every shot of him.

I am eager to see what this starting D looks like. Should be even better.

Bryant getting released will seriously piss me off. Let's see, two r2s for Marshall instead of Bryant and the ticking sound of the bomb that might be TO. This will be a boon/bust scenario.

Skin Zeppelin, apart from being the best name I've heard in years, is so apt, so distinct, the only remaining question is how bad the explosion will be when SoP's own Hindenberg finally gives up the ghost.

The only real difference seems to be that while the Hindenburg was filled with hydrogen, Andre is filled with methane as a result of a late-night Taco Bell binge. The flammable result should still be remarkably similar. Just don't follow him to the can.
