since i have no clue what times you guys are talking about, here goes nothing.

WITH THE SECOND SELECTION IN THE 2010 BENGALSZONE MOCK DRAFT, THE DETROIT LIONS SELECT...

Russell Okung, Tackle, Oklahoma State.

Both offensive and defensive lines are in issue for the Lions. In the end, they decide to protect their second-year franchise QB, who got hit far too often last season. with 42 million dollars invested in Matthew Stafford, the Lions have an interest in keeping him on his feet. Okung is the premier left tackle prospect in this year's draft. Already a strong pass blocker and punishing run blocker, he's an instant upgrade over 30-year-old and injury-prone Jeff Backus. This draft class is exceptionally deep at DT, so the Lions will certainly target one in the second or third round. Okung is about as safe as picks get this high up, and will anchor the Detroit line together with young RT Ghosder Cherilus for years to come.

With the 3rd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select:

Nebraska Defensive Tackle, Nkamadong Suh.

Suh addresses the Bucs need for an impact player at the interior defensive line position.

Withe the 4th Overall Pick in the 2010 Draft, The Washington Redskins select:

Trent Williams OT Oklahoma

I really see Russell Okung going here, but with him already being off our draft board, I think Williams is the next choice.

It's no secret that the Redskins are hurting along the Offensive Line, especially with the retirement of Chris Samuels. The have Stephon Heyer who started all 16 games for them returning, but the only other 2 "True" Tackles on their roster as of right now are: Clint Oldenburg (2 career NFL games 0 starts) and Will Robinson (1 career NFL game 0 starts). In case of emergency, they do have the option to move over Mike Williams from G, but thats not ideal.

Desperate for a LT, if Okung is gone, I believe they take Trent Williams over Bryan Bulaga. Trent Williams (6'5" 315lbs) is very good at pass protection, and uses his long arms well. According to scouting reports he does need to improve his run blocking, but that can come in time. Very Agile for his size, Williams put up some impressive numbers for an O-Lineman. 4.81 second 40-time (for a 315 pounder) and 34.5" Vertical.

Again, Okung is the premier Tackle in this draft, but if he's unavailable, Trent Williams should be the pick.

With the 5th Pick, the Kansas City Chief select Eric Berry, Free Safety from Tennessee.

I've seen report that KC is not happy about drafting a safety at this point in the draft. Their needs are OT, ILB, S, OLB and NT. But, Gerald McCoy appears to be more of a 4-3 DT and the two OTs that would make sense are already gone --therefore KC selects Eric berry.

I could easily see KC trying to find someone to trade up for McCoy thus getting more draft choices and a safety at a more reasonable position.

With the 7th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select...

Earl Thomas, S, Texas

With their #1 choice in Eric Berry off the boards, the Browns pick the player some say is the #1 safety in the draft. Their secondary badly needs a playmaker and with Thomas' mix of speed, cover abilities, and ball skills, he's a no-brainer here for the Browns. A bit of a reach but it takes care of a glaring need in the AFCN with the receiving threats that exist between CIN, BAL, and PIT.

So we can keep this moving...

With the 8th pick in the Bengalszone Mock Draft the Oakland Raiders select:

Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa

I really think this is the year the Raiders actually make a smart pick in the draft and since losing out on McNabb, they have to look at bolstering their o-line to give protection. Bulaga has been rated as the best OT in the draft by many and can play at almost all positions along the line. He has all the makings of a future pro-bowl type of LT and will give the Raiders o-line a much needed dose of help.

9th pick

Buffalo Bills

toss-up between QB and WR

But I think the Bills will take a shot at a franchise QB in:

Jimmy Clausen QB, Notre Dame

With the 10th pick in this slow ass mock draft, the Jaguars take:

Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida

Sure they got Kampman in the offseason, but he's coming off a bad knee injury and all the other DE's on that roster have not lived up to their hype having invested other 1st round picks at the spot. Morgan from GT could have also been thought of here, but the potential of JPP will be to much for the Jags to pass up.

Haden is available?  He is probably the BPA here, but CB is simply not a big enough need for Miami. The 49ers will almost certainly grab him at 13, so if a team out there likes him, Miami is the team to trade with.

Jason Taylor is going to the Jets. Jason Ferguson is going to be serving an 8 game suspension. Joey Porter has been cut. The  Dolphins have a huge need for a pass rusher or D-Lineman.

Dan Williams would probably be a decent pick for Miami here (one that is common in a lot of mock drafts) as he is basically a younger Jason Ferguson... and at 35 Ferguson can't have many years left.

Derrick Morgan is on a very short list of players that fill a need and is in the argument for BPA. He is very versatile at 275 lbs... not way too small to play DE in the 3-4 (he played DT in some situations in college), and also is a skilled enough to stand up as an OLB pass rusher.

The Dolphins showed interest in Antonio Bryant. Bryant once threw a towel in the face of Bill Parcells in Dallas, and Parcells doesn't strike me as the quick to forgive type... so it speaks volumes about how they feel about the WR need.

When you consider how deep this D-Line class is, Miami will have much better luck finding a quality lineman in the 2nd round than they would a WR to fix that offense. And Dez Bryant has the potential to be something really special (and apparently Keyshawn has been selling Parcells on Bryant recently).

With the 12th overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select:

Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State

Forgive the long winded post, but it was a slow work day for me today, an I had nothing to do but look at draft options.

With the 13th pick in the NFL Draft the San Francisco 49er's select:

Joe Haden, CB, Florida

This is simply a no brainer for the 49er's. Represents both the BPA and fills a huge need for them. Haden will give a lot of help to the 49er secondary and having another pick in a few more spots, the 49er's will be looking at another shot at getting the BPA while filling another need.

With the 14th selection the Seattle Seahawks choose Anthony Davis -Rutgers...

Top 2 Tackles were gone with their first pick and a no Brainer in Mccoy,So they grab their Left Tackle here...I could see Mays being the pick he's from Seattle Pete Carroll obviously likes him as a player but,

The need to fix their Oline is too great.

With the 15th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft The New York Giants select Dan Williams DT Tenn.

This one came down to Williams and Spillier. The bottom line is that Williams presented more of a need than Spiller. Williams is a classic nose takle, but has the speed and athleticisim needed to fit well in the Giants 4-3 D. The Giants faded at the end of last year because they couldn't stop anyone. They have spent allot of money this offseaon surring up the Safety positions with Antrel Rolle and Deon Grant. The Giants feed off there pass rush, which was almost non-exsistent last year. The additian of Williams should free up Osi and Justin Tuck on the outside. All in all a much needed addition to the defense. LB represents the greatest need for this team, but with McClain off the board no other LB warrented this high of a pick.

With the 16th pick in the NFL draft the Tennessee Titans select Derrick Morgan, DE Georgia Tech.

With the loss of Albert Haynesworth and Antwan Odom two seasons ago and the loss of Kyle Vanden Bosch this season, the Titans pass rush in in serious need of some help. I believe Pierre-Paul is the guy they really covet, but Morgan is a pretty decent consolation prize. Of course a lot of this depends on rumors that the Titans are trying to get Haynesworth back in TN. If successful, then they may opt out of d-line help and go for another CB to supplement Finnegan or perhaps even another offensive weapon at TE or WR to give Vince Young some help in the passing game. It should be an interesting couple of days in Nashville come draft time.

The 49er's find themselves in a bit of no man's land. They were really hoping to see Anthony Davis make it to them right here, but that didn't happen. They could go in a couple different directions with this pick. They could go with the BPA and snag Spiller to compliment Gore, but I don't think they will. Their o-line was a mess and as opposed to reaching for the 5th rated OT or waiting to address it later:

With the 17th pick in the NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49er's select:

Mike Iupati, OL, Idaho

Iupati is the top rated Guard in the draft and many project him as a RT, which is exactly what the 49er's are in great need of. They need that guy to come in and blast players off the line, opening holes for Gore. Iupati is a little thicker, quicker, and stronger than Anthony Davis without the character concerns, so it may end up being a blessing in disguise that Davis is gone. This note about Iupati:

Run Blocking: Can dominate as a run blocker due to his mass and rare upper-body strength. Provides an explosive initial pop that often knocks the defender back. Very good drive blocker when he plays with leverage and keeps his hands inside. Can physically remove the defender from the hole. Looks to eliminate more than one defender on the play and will release to the second level. Good effort downfield.

In the sake of keeping things moving...

With the 18th pick in the NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select:

Maurkice Pouncey, OL, Florida

Even though the Steelers got rid of Holmes, I really don't think they can overlook the still glaring need at o-line in order to reach for WR that can easily be had in the 2nd round. Pouncey gives them versatility in that he can play both Center and Guard and will be a physical presence for the interior of that o-line right away. If the Steelers really want to open some holes on the inside and handle some of the larger NT's in the division, this is an excellent pick for them. Steelers go WR in the 2nd or 3rd for sure...

With the 19th pick:

ATLANTA- Brandon Graham. DE Michigan

Well, i was hoping that morgan would slip.... Local prospect... Would help john abraham on the other side... Would be perfect. In fact it wouldnt surprise me if they trade up to get him, But he got selected in this, Morgan is the better version of graham (as a 3-4 rushing linebacker)... But graham has unstopping motor. He and abraham can cause chaos... Should definately help this defense. There offense is gonna be good so you just gotta get some more D.

All votes are in and if not, we are moving along because more votes won't matter...

With the 21st pick in the NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select:

Taylor Mays, S, USC

Mays presents not only good value, as he was a top 10 pick had he come out last year and is still viewed as a top 15 player this year, but fills a great need on the defensive side of the ball. Mays has been coined as a Roy Williams clone and what better person to learn from at the next level than Williams ?? Williams has had durability issues and is working on a one year deal, so this makes sense from that standpoint as well. Coupling Mays with what most consider a top CB tandem in the league will allow him to be the player he was in his junior season at USC.

6'3, 236, 4.4 speed ?? Just sick...
