BengalszoneBilly Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Before anyone thinks I've started "putting from the rough" so to speak...check out this link:http://www.playcornhole.org/I think those cornholin' caps would make some interesting Christmas gifts!! Quote
richmond_mat Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I went to a couple of family reunions recently and there was much excitement about the cornhole. I don't get the name nor was inspired to play the game. Maybe it's geriatric horseshoes. Quote
Kirkendall Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Corn is placed in the bags, sealed up and the object is to throw them in the hole. Hence the name, CornHole. Cincy just had a huge Cornhole tournament so the sport is starting to gain steam again. BTW - Two bars that I go to have them in the backyard to play; it's getting really popular in these necks of the woods. Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 it is such a west side game, glad im over here on the east Quote
The Brew Man Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I think its fun, I always refer to it as yuppie horseshoes...... Quote

richmond_mat Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I thought horseshoes was a game for the old???hmmmmm--maybe I am mistaken???I guess we also have to define 'old'. I believe horseshoes' popularity has waned and its players have grown old. Besides, it's alot easier to toss a bag of corn than a shoe; especially after several brewskies. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted July 14, 2004 Author Report Posted July 14, 2004 The first time I heard about the game was on that HBO show "OZ"! It turned out that version of the game has totally different rules than the one at the posted link! Quote
BengalDave73 Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 We play before bengals road games down at the east club. Quote
