Corn is placed in the bags, sealed up and the object is to throw them in the hole. Hence the name, CornHole. B)

Cincy just had a huge Cornhole tournament so the sport is starting to gain steam again. BTW - Two bars that I go to have them in the backyard to play; it's getting really popular in these necks of the woods.

I went to a couple of family reunions recently

and there was much excitement

about the cornhole.

I don't get the name

nor was inspired

to play the game.

Maybe it's geriatric horseshoes.

I thought horseshoes was a game for the old???

hmmmmm--maybe I am mistaken???

I guess we also have to define 'old'.

I believe horseshoes' popularity has waned and its players have grown old.

Besides, it's alot easier to toss a bag of corn than a shoe; especially after several brewskies.

The first time I heard about the game was on that HBO show "OZ"! It turned out that version of the game has totally different rules than the one at the posted link!
