BengalszoneBilly Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I just hope this one is better than the Cards @ Saints game... Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 17, 2010 Author Report Posted January 17, 2010 Hmm. The Colts seem to be good with working the clock on this drive. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Here's a question for Bengals fans to ponder...Why is it when the Bengals run the ball 40 times a game with Benson, we are simply wearing him out and our offense is lopsided, but when the Ravens run the ball 50 times a game and Flacco has a sub 100 yard passing game, the Ravens offense is "dominant" ??Not trying to highjack your thread Billy, was just listening to the announcers on this one. I see your point here. Quote

Palmer should be more of a part of this offense. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I'm not ready to pronounce him better than a bunch of QB's out there anymore. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 17, 2010 Author Report Posted January 17, 2010 Holy s**t. The Ravens cannot hold on to the damn ball! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 17, 2010 Author Report Posted January 17, 2010 Indy is simply making Flacco beat them, and he can't do it. Quote
cincyhokie Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I'm not ready to pronounce him better than a bunch of QB's out there anymore. He's better than Flacco. At least Flacco will get the pass because he's 25. People expect Palmer to be better...because well, he's been better in the past. Quote

I was responding to your question as to why it is perceived that the Ravens are running a great offense while the Bengals are off balanced and struggling.Flacco has only been a game manager and is young. He's allowed to hand the ball off 40 times a game. Palmer is a pro-bowl QB who's not used to being viewed as a game manager. Plus, he's proven he's a better QB. But to people watching the Bengals play....he's regressed. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Here's my thing with Flacco and it's only a perspective, NOT me proclaiming he's all-world.Flacco threw the ball 499 times, good for 15th in the league. Had a 63.1% completion rate, good for 11th. His 3613 yards was also good for 15th.His 21 TD's was good for 15th and only threw 12 INT's. He had plenty of games that he threw better than 30 times a game.My point ?? He was better than Carson in all of those areas with a receiving corps thought to be worse than ours AND he had a running game.My other point ?? The Bengals need to figure out what the hell is wrong with our offense, because something IS wrong. Quote
jjakq27 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 For what it's worth, Ed Reed has stated that he 50-50 about coming back next year. I strongly suggest that he retire. Quote
