walzav29
I remember the last big time shut down corner Champ Baily came to Cincinnati. I was there on that Monday night and Chad lit him up. I really feel Chad is rope-a-dopin! I think he'll have a big game.
Ickey44
Revis will have safety help just like he did last week. The other receivers are going to have to step up. Ryan has already said he always doubled Chad when he was in Baltimore, and I'm sure he'll do the same here. If the Bengals want Chad to contribute, they need to find creative ways to get him the football. I just hope Brat can do that....but I'm not holding my breath. walzav29
I noticed that Palmer did not get sacked Sunday night. I feel he knows Rex's D inside and out. I think the passes he threw Revis's way were to see tendencies on film. My opinion.
ArmyBengal
Rope-a-dopin' ??I couldn't be more pleased with what we ended up getting out of Chad this year (see no tank job), but I hardly see this as the case.Chad was hurt prior to the game and just like last week, will have safety help as already mentioned. I to expect the same out of Chad this weekend with maybe a few more catches.Hope to see a big play from Carson and Chad, but I wouldn't be betting on it either... walzav29
I predict Ocho will have a TD of 40 yards or longer.
skyline
Chad did get open a couple of times. The first one was a tough catch with the safety bearing down on him, but the second one was very catchable, obviously, and should have been a decent 10+yard reception. He'll be a factor. He may not have a monster game by any means, but he won't be shut out, and the attention he draws will hopefully allow the other guys to work. I agree with Collinsworth last week, though, that Palmer seems to have been leaning a little too heavily on Chad lately. Hopefully, he'll spread the ball around this weekend, and the other guys won't let him down when he does.
walzav29
I think Ocho is the only receiver Palmer can count on to be in the right spot at the right time.
skyline
I think Ocho is the only receiver Palmer can count on to be in the right spot at the right time.I think Coles and Caldwell can both handle more.I could be wrong, of course. Perhaps they've been running bad routes and I haven't noticed. I would say they drop the ball too much, which is true, but Chad is guilty of that as well from time to time. walzav29
I was just thinking remember Chad trying to get out at the end of 07? He was miserable and complained that he wanted to compete for a championship. Now here they sit, and the whole world is saying Revis will take him out. This is the true meaning of put up or shut up! Man I can't wait for this game! Happy last playoff win anniversary Bengals! 19 years ago today!
JoePong
Looked to me like Revis got away with some pass interference on a couple plays last week, especially on the long pass. And like someone else said, he was getting help from the safety on other plays. As for the WR position, I suggested the idea during last off-season that the bengals consider taking a WR like Michael Crabtree if they thought he would be a top notch player. I have always argued that as long as we have Carson Palmer, we need to make sure he is surrounded by some weapons at WR to take advantage of his ability. I know a lot of people on this board (probably the same people who wanted us to get rid of Chad the last couple years)stated that Carson Palmer can makes WRs great and that we can just plug anyone in. Well, we have seen that is not tha case. The NFL is a game of big plays and playmakers.I will never argue with taking an O-Linemean or D-Lineman, and I thought Andre Smith and BJ Raji were the best choices, but thought that Crabtree should have been taken if we didn't take those guys. We definitely need to upgrade in this off-season, especially with the loss of #15.

Joe, I'm not sure if the rules allow you to say "I told ya so" if you couldn't bring yourself to pimp Crabtree as anything more than your 3rd choice. Just saying.
