One would hope,It does make me wonder though because when I saw that they IR'd Maualuga I never thought Hill would be the one promoted...So do they see something in him? Is Marvin going to force Brat to Utilize a Tight end more?(Hill was purely a receiving TE if I'm not mistaken) or did they feel he was best special teamer (which surprising because purfi did a good job on teams)

I am surprised they didn't sign Purify back to the practice squad. I think he gave them some flexibility on special teams. Not sure what Hill will do for them or how it affects Coats.

They already know about Purify. And they know what Coates can (or can't, as the case may be) do.

Is this the week they give some real snaps to Simpson? If not, is the Simpson experiment coming to a close?

It's gotta be frustrating for Purify knowing he's got Simpson out play-booked by a mile but can't see the field. I gotta wonder what happens to Simpson after the season. My guess is one more spring and another training camp for him and that's it. I would expect them to take a WR in one of the first few rounds too. With the loss of Henry and some many question marks at the position, I think they need to take someone.

Yeah, they'll see where Simpson is at in Camp, and if he doesn't show anything in the PreSeason, he'll be one of the Final cuts, when they go down to the 53 man roster just before the season. All he has to do is show SOMETHING, because you know the organization doesn't want to cut the guy, and admit wasting a 2nd Rd pick on him. I mean, that's the only reason he is still on the roster.
