HAPPYJAQ
Thanks for that clip. Wow, he runs a slant and gets in front of his man. If only we had an O-line that has suddenly become suspect at pass protecting. Unfortunately for Quan we have a great PP line and a multitude of fast guys to line up on the outside. If we had an iffy O-line and a banged up receiving group a few quick slant passes across the middle would really help Carson out and maybe provide an anaemic passing game a little lifeline./screamsGood idea, but Brat has a full repertoire of reverses planned for Sunday. Maybe this "slant pass" you speak of can be studied by the OC over the next few weeks and we can try one in the 4th quarter of the Jets game. Until then, watch out NFL defenses, you think that's our receiver going in motion in the backfield? Psyche!! We just went all reverse on your unsuspecting asses, zing!Ahhh...The "slant pass".Brings back some old David Kligler-to-Jeff Query memories/nightmares from around '93. Ickey44
Hey, the slant is effective if used properly.
