wookie
Its been a while since I've been on...but life gets in the way at times. This doesn't mean I've given up on my Bengals though. :player: I have to agree that the worst thing that has happened to the Bengals this year was losing Weathersby, not only for what he could have contributed on the field but because of the mental strain it put on the Bengals.Missing out on a quality DT to shore up that porous run D.I would rank the new Bengals block B as the new symbol as the 3rd worst thing to happen to them. wookie
Thanks Billybroome...good to be back. Its been a quiet off-season but I have a feeling that we'll all have a lot more to talk about soon. The Lewis cuts are going to cause a big stir...I predict some shocking moves and some old Bengals will be looking for new jobs. Look out T.J. and anyone who plays Defense!!! Look out T.J. and anyone who plays Defense!!! Wookie...I believe you are so right in this regard. Marvin is going to create a whole new defense with a mix of rookies and veterans. The way the defense collapsed last season I expect alot of folks to be handed their walking papers, and rightfully so!
wookie
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Lewis applying his influence to the defense. I still have faith in Fraiser, but like I read on the home page you don't hire a coach who's known for his defensive genius and expect him to just hang back and watch. The Bengals cannot allow another 1-3 slide at the end of the season again...even though their schedule is by no means soft again this year.
