ChadJohnson-85
This is buzz around the Jets complex.I could care less. We'll probably be sitting our starters for the play-offs by then. Why not this week?
ArmyBengal
Didn't think they could flex into a primetime game. And why against the Jets ??
Stripes
Well that would be a snore. These are the two best examples in the league right now of ball control offenses with hard nosed defenses supporting them. Loads of fun for Bengals and Jets fans (if the game holds meaning in the standings for both), but a total snoozer for the rest of the country. Pidge
At least one, or maybe both teams (ya never know) might still be trying to secure a playoff spot.
LesterLyles
I believe it has something to do w/ the last game ever at the Meadowlands.
Kazkal
Didn't think they could flex into a primetime game. And why against the Jets ??Because Chargers game CBS put on the cock block so another channel couldn't move it up...as for starters resting only if we lose to the chargers & beat the Chiefs...But if we beat the chargers more likely be fighting tooth and nail vs jets for 2# seed. jjakq27
Didn't think they could flex into a primetime game. And why against the Jets ??The Jets have an outside shot at the playoffs as they sit at 7-6 in the No. 9 spot. They play Atlanta, @ Indy and us up there. So there might be some drama there if they could somehow beat Indy. There aren't too many compelling match-ups that week either. Pittsburgh v. Miami is also on CBS while Philly v. Dallas and GB vs. Arizona are on FOX that day. Also I believe it is the last regular season game to be played in Giants Stadium. You know NBC (New York Broadcasting Network) will have to beat that to death. Make sure we have plenty of clips of Bill Parcells, Lawrence Taylor, Richard Todd and Freeman McNeil to name a few.
