derekshank
Percentage of games Carson Palmer played in: 25% vs.100% (75% more of Carson Palmer playing in games)Not exactly. This is just the first 10 games, not all 16. Palmer played in 4 of the first 10. So he was there for 40% of the games. But you're right, he's played in all 10 of this years games... and that's a 250% increase. But I would argue that the O-Line is the primary reason for the stark contrast in many of those numbers. I guess I had it right, but I wrote it in wrong. In fact, I went back and changed it because I saw the math wasn't right. I guess I changed the wrong figure. It's now changed to reflect the appropriate data. Thanks.
CarsonCity
Points scored/game: 13.8 vs. 25.1 (7.7 more points/game)Also, the differential in points scored a game is 11.3 more a game, not 7.7. Unless, of course, you meant they've scored 21.5 points a game this year rather than 25.1.

I must have been stricken with a case of short term dyslexia. Either that, or I should stop posting with my iPhone.BTW... that also explains the error Dimster pointed out. The math was right originally... I just switched the 21.5 points scored/game to 25.1. Wishful thinking perhaps?

What's the real difference betwen the '08 team and the '09 team?As far as I can tell, the primary difference is O-Line play and a healthy Carson Palmer. As much as that might make Pong upset, keeping Palmer upright and giving him an effective playaction appears to be the difference between 1-8-1 and 7-3.This just in... The Bengals are better when Palmer is the QB.
