Frustrating how the introductory sentence is utterly false and represents the incorrect assumption by which the Bengals are so often judged.

"The Bengals, once a losing team with players in frequent legal trouble, have turned over a new leaf"

The primary majority of the legal trouble came in the offseason between 2005 and 2006, when the Bengals were anything but a "losing team".
