chrishcovga
Well, According to the Associated Press, The Cincinnati Bengals have ended all contract negotiations with Daryl Gardner. Once thought to have already signed a 4 year deal back in April, the former Bronco,Dolphin, and Redskin DT had too many question marks about his back injuries. - It appears that during negotiations the Bengals discovered that Gardner's past back injuries are the result of a " degenerative " condition.http://www.nflfans.com/draft/article.php?s...040703082731654- This link also enables a look at some of the " better " scrubs " oops I mean, leftover free agents available. JPW
Is this the article you are talking about ?"AP reports now that it appears the Cincinnati Bengals will not sign DT Daryl Gardener, a few other franchises are beginning to poke around the free agent defensive tackle. Of course, those other teams are concerned about the degenerative back condition that kept Cincinnati from signing him."
