Ced TresDos Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 He's had a couple games where he's rushed for over 160, but when you break it down, those runs happened mostly because the offensive line, in particular Kemoeatu pulling toward Essex and Colon with Spaeth the TE, is opening up gaping holes. Now I like what we're doing with putting the TE away from the tackle. That's something the squeelers don't do! But we have to stop Kemoeatu before that fat samoan starts! To beat Spaeth, you can't go head to head with him because he'll get position on you and then a lane will be created. You have to shoot the gap! Shoot the damn gap! The key is Joseph. That's what I've been saying all day! Split our DE Wider than Waste of Spaeth or jam him in closer so he's already in a gap. Then blitz Joseph and then you've got NOTHING MENDENHALL! Nothing but a fumble waiting to happen!BUG EYES!@ Quote
