Gardner or Gildon

I feel that if it was going to happen in either case, it would have happened already. This is sooo reminicent of the Sapp debacle. A whole bunch of hurry up and wait for something that never materializes.

I expected an announcement about one of them at least earlier this week, but here we are on Wednesday evening and we got nada!

Have to agree with you here Billy :

1st. June 2nd wasn't supposed to come and go without DG becoming a Bengal !

- There's no way his back should have been let become an issue after terms of the money due to be invested in him back in April were announced . We should have known his medical condition beforehand !

2nd. There's a list of players out there that could still come in and contribute at both positions. DE and DT.

a. - Gilbert Brown

b. - Chad Eaton

c. - Chad Bratzke

d. - Kenny Holmes etc. etc. etc.

* My evergrowing confidence in the upcoming season has been reminded too often this off season of Mikeyisms !

I don't think either one of those two need to be here. Yeah we could use a DT, and a DE, but at what cost to our young players? If either one of those guys are signed then it's gonna cut into playing time for our draft choices....Will either one of those two be the final piece to the puzzle to put us in the Super Bowl? Nope....We are better served playing the young guys and whatever happens happens...

I can't help to think that Gilbert Brown may give Nate Webster somewhat of a fighting chance--that is if FAT ASS doesn't prove to be another "Belly Dancer" like Daryl Jackson down in N'Awlins last year. What a waste of time and money. Be glad the Bungles didn't sign this fat lop of s**t.

Then again, Gilbert Brown has weight problems. He needs breathers--but if you have guys switching out, this shouldn't be a problem. Just can't play Gilbert on passing downs.

Chad Eaton is another one--why not take a chance of him??? He has Super Bowl Experience too!!! I have too many questions on this f**king front office. Mike Brown must need an "earth drill"-sized enema to get his tight ass to open up that wallet of his.
