walzav29
It has been beaten into our heads that the Bengals will never be good, our organization just sucks and no matter what we won't have a shot. Can't we look at how the defense played? Are you telling me this offense has no talent? Besides the muffed snap the special teams played well. If you looked at this as a different team you WOULD say that Palmer hasn't played in almost a year, they have a new offensive line and they have to replace TJ. It will take a minute to get in sync. Cedric ran good today, and when the team had to do it they marched 91 yards and scored. This team will improve as the season goes on. No! We cannot start 0-4 and make it to the playoffs, but if we can start 2-2. The Bengals will get better and better as the season goes. The Colts lost last year in week 1. They ended up 12-4. History means nothing. You see the way they were hitting today? Can't you see how Roy will help against the Ravens and Steelers? You really think analysts study the Bengals? They just look at the teams in the playoffs the previous year. Don't throw in the towel guys. We are making the playoffs!!!
derekshank
Yes, the defense is encouraging... but it was the Broncos. Sure you can make all sorts of excuses about why the offense struggled, but playing the Broncos week 1 should have been a gift from God as a nice warm up game. Losing that game is not the end of the season... but that is one of the easier defenses the Bengals will face this year, so they don't have much time to try to get in sync.I didn't think this was a playoff team at the beginning of the year, so this loss was a little less heartbreaking for me - but this loss does raise some legitimate questions about whether the Bengals have improved at all. walzav29
It was a trap game. They are known as that for a reason. Like when the 4-5 Bengals beat the 9-0 Chiefs. Don't sweat it.

volcom69
If the offense comes out next week of fire, and the defense keeps improving, because Greenbay will be a tougher offense then i will say this team could really suprise some people. So lets just hope the offense get on fire.

walzav29
They need to play twice as good, but I think that Henry needs to get added to the mix somehow. I suppose Coles tackled good on the 2 int's and maybe he blocked well, but I think they could use some receptions from the wideout position. It will be a slug fest next week. 50/
