alleycat
So, in order to ward off a mid-life crisis (isn't 34 too young for that?), I'm going to India for the next 4 months. I have NFL Sunday ticket, and can now watch games live from my computer or phone if I have a wi-fi connection, but I know there will be times when I'm in areas that are far too remote. My question is this: Is there anything out there that anyone knows of that would allow me to watch the games on a delayed basis? I have a DVR at home, but that won't do me much good. I can wait a week or so to watch the game, but don't want to watch the whole season after I already know what happens. Does something exist whereby you can watch things from your DVR (something like Slingbox but for things that are taped)? Is there a service that allows you to watch the games online after the fact? All help/suggestions are desperately appreciated!
derekshank
If I'm understanding your problem, you'll have Internet access, just not all the time, or necessarily when games are being aired?Well, NFL.com will be streaming games on tape delay, but I'm not sure that helps you either, since I believe it will still be a one time stream. I'm a Mac user, so I'm unable to use it, but wonder if orb might do the trick. Not sure if there is any way to store what your DVR records on your PC... but if there is, you could make that work.Possibly your best choice would be to hope that someone uploads it on a torrent like piratebay or btjunkie. Those are the only suggestions I have, and they all assume I'm understanding your situation... which I'm not sure I do. Hope it helps though. w8th
Not sure it this would do it or not./>http://www.nfl.com/nflanytime
alleycat
Thanks guys, I think that'll do it. I followed that link and they have something called Game Pass and Season Pass which are only available from overseas, but which allows you to access all of the games and you can watch them after they've aired. Anyone know if you can cancel NFL Sunday Ticket after a couple of weeks? It's my second year with it, and I'm leaving after the second game, so no need to spend all of that cash... BengalszoneBilly
Unless you're of Indian decent, looking to break into a job in tech support, or study belly dancing from it's origins, I can't find a reason to spend four months in a place like India. Pidge
Just feel lucky you're not in China like a mate of mine is for 2 yrs. I mean, he can get access to virtually nothing. He's been without cricket even, that most harmless of sports, for 18 months now.
