semiotter
Wow does this suprise anyone else except me? Seems like the kid would get at least half the season before they through him to the wolves or Vikes , Bears or NFL. They say Culpepper was having a good Pre season to. But what do I know but I think this will ruin this kid or it could be another Ryan story like the Falcons. They were really bad and he brought them back to the winning ways. Oh well Good Luck Matt
ArmyBengal
I thought Culpepper might have gotten the nod to give Stafford some time, but I guess the Lions figured they didn't guarantee the kid 50 million to sit and learn while holding a clip board and they couldn't do any worse than they did last year. Not that I agree, just saying...
BengalszoneBilly
This kid is about to get shell shocked in a manner that would make David Klinglers debut look like a walk in the park.
Ickey44
The Lions are about to have another bad year. Stafford threw four picks in the PS. I doubt it gets any better from there. Culpepper gives them their best chance to win this year. The Lions don't have the running game the Falcons and Ravens had last year to assist their rookie QBs. I guess their tossing in the towel on this year to get Stafford and the rest of the team ready for next year.
Kazkal
Sometimes wish Carson started his rookie season because really did seem like his 2nd year was a rookie season...
Ickey44
Sometimes wish Carson started his rookie season because really did seem like his 2nd year was a rookie season...His first few games were tough that year, but by the end of the year he was lighting it up. I doubt he would've been that good at the end of '03 if he had started, but maybe he would've been that good at the beginning of '04. Who knows?
